Are they the jumpers currently being sold?

Peter Jackson announced at the B&F that AHG will renew their sponsorship which expires about now.  But he didn't say how much or for how long.

Hope PJ has someone else lined up for the back, if AHG are scaling back their sponsorship.

Yes there will be a new back of jumper sponsor. Not sure if it is locked away, but a bit going on apparently.

Tried to buy a Hyundai using the Melbourne FC connection/discount but in the end they were uncompetitive.

Just sayin...

Went down to the AHG 30Hr Sale at Melbourne City Hyundai on the weekend & left with a fantastic deal on a new car. Really well looked after by them & couldn't be happier. Contacted the MFC to thank them for sending me the AHG email alerting me to the fact that there was a 3 day sale on. Keep it up MFC. One very satisfied member.

Jack Trengove is the reason AHG is our major sponsor.

Inside information.

Love INSIDE INFORMATION......

According to an interview with Roosy and their CEO when they first came on board Roosy had an existing sponsorship relationship with them in Sydney and was responsible for getting them on board as the major sponsor.

Seems as though there was a fair bit of water that went under the bridge to get a single years extension.

Hopefully the next will be for a longer term.

I think 2017 will make it five years Steve. Not bad for a club that struggled to have one in place in March a few years back.

I thought it was previously only a 3 year sponsorship.Plus " whatever this extension carries in time " .

The MFC article confirms suspicions that there will be a new back of jumper sponsor.  AHG have recommitted as the front of jumper sponsor.

If only there were a new “front-of-sponsor” jumper.

@Swooper In light of the Age article that we are looking for a back of jumper sponsor has the deal you referred to there fallen through or is it still in the pipeline?

Would be great to get that boj sponsor sooner rather than later.

  • REPORT: Essendon

What were they thinking? I mean by “they” the coaching panel and team selectors who chose the team to play against an opponent who, like Melbourne, had made a poor start to the season and who they appeared perfectly capable of beating in what was possibly the last chance to turn the season around. It’s no secret that the Demons’ forward line is totally dysfunctional, having opened the season barely able to average sixty points per game which means there has been no semblance of any system from the team going forward into attack. Nevertheless, on Saturday night at the Adelaide Oval in one of the Gather Round showcase games, Melbourne, with Max Gawn dominating the hit outs against a depleted Essendon ruck resulting from Nick Bryan’s early exit, finished just ahead in clearances won and found itself inside the 50 metre arc 51 times to 43. The end result was a final score that had the Bombers winning 15.6 (96) to 8.9 (57). On balance, one could expect this to result in a two or three goal win, but in this case, it translated into a six and a half goal defeat because they only managed to convert eight times or 11.68% of their entries. The Bombers more than doubled that. On Thursday night at the same ground, the losing team Adelaide managed to score 100 points from almost the same number of times inside 50.
