Quality player at North, played every game in 2012, only 3 in 2013, reportedly works very hard but can't break into the side

Might be keen on a few more opportunities?

Has the same problem as a lot of our guys, he can't get enough of the ball and has no tank. Those problems probably go hand in glove.

Yeah, maybe not the sort of player we are after then, i remember watching him in 2012 and thinking he might well turn out to be a very good player, but i suppose you don't lose your spot in the side for no reason.

Indeed, averages 8.9 disposals a game (personal best of 16) and under a goal a game.

I'm fairly confident a spot on the senior list could be put to much better use.

Fan of this bloke after a impressive year last year i was surprised he fell away this year playing VFL most of the year.

Peoples thoughts on this should we chase him? would add some serious pace to our midfield.

'Quality player' who managed 'only 3 games this season' conjure up serious doubts in my mind. Why would a quality player get so few games?

Would 'marginal' player with 'some potential' be a better description?

Keiran Harper has good pace, skills and loves kicking goals. Would fit in around Hogan, Dawes, Clark and Howe.

Perfect replacement for Sylvia (likely to go).

We must offer 3 year deal and give Nmfc draft pick around 18-30 mark.

Harper's tank is non-existent.

Completely incapable of running out a game.

And the things he is good at, he's not nearly good enough at to make him a worthwhile prospect.

I put his level of ability alongside a Tapscott.

I already have a hard enough time trying to figure out what we'll do with him.

It seems that the only Yarra boys to do any good are the boys at Port.

Andy Moore is starting to really play well and Aaron Young is a much required player at his club.

Blease, Gys and Harps have been left out in the cold methinks.

NM have a far better track record for developing players than we do. He's a high draft pick who couldn't cut it in their system.

Even with Paul Roos on board, it's still not very appealing.

We have chatted to him I know Narny Grima from North and he suggested we have talked to him. I don't mind him .. not a high pick obviously but we need more pace around the ball. FWIW I watched a few vfl games he played in and he wasn't that bad. Just needs to slow down before he kicks it when he does that he hits a lot of targets.

Awsome. Massive fan for some reason.. killer speed and x factor to go with. Would love him on a wing running up and down providing dash and creativity.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
