Kennedy is currently in Melbourne.

Has he been seen at the G?

Yes, but only the one ruck. Don't want them getting greedy!

of course...my bad

wonder how long before some intrepid news-type splashes the "rumour" online ? ^_^

...or does the rumour come from a serial pest?

Kennedy for anyone bar Hogan & Viney.

I'd throw in Pick 9.

Number 1 in the league for contested possessions, clearances, handballs and 4th in possessions.

Absolute star and people are worried about trading out players who have shown 'potential.'

This guy is the definition of the hard at inside midfielder and would be the one 'elite' (such a dirty word) player on our list.

Not saying others won't get to that standard but JPK is an out and out star.

Something to drool over :)))

Straight swap.

Frawley.

Straight swap.

Frawley.

with a decent midfield we wouldnt need too many backs !!

Wallace just summed up best. Its Dom Tyson plus pick 9 vs pick 2

Straight swap.

Frawley.

I was thinking of Frawley but Sydney are trying to clear salary cap space and Frawley, quite rightly, wouldn't come cheap..

Has to be pick 9 + a young up and comer who doesn't cost the earth

I can't believe we are talking about this.

Who would be on more, Kennedy or Frawley?

And to take this to an illogical conclusion

Opening bounce, centre square round 1

Ruckman

Kennedy

Jones and

Vince

First rotation Viney

Second Cross

Third Toumpas

Fourth Tyson

Some speed, polish, grunt and lots of attack

And less than 30% if its not zero is something!

Mary: "I'd say more like 1 out if a million"

Lloyd: "So you're telling me there's a chance... Yeah!!!"

Straight swap.

Frawley.

One of the few on my non trade list.

Pick 9 + Howe is a good deal for Sydney, IF Kennedy wants out.

If he doesn't, they'd tell us to p*ss off no matter who we offer.

bbbahahahahahahahhhahahahahaha as if we are gonna get Kennedy.

Lol what this bloke said ^^^

I wouldn't swap Howe and pick 9. Or toumpas and pick 9.

Yes Kennedy is a player, but people forget that you can still land stars at pick 9 and Toumpas will be a fantastic player in the right environment.

Howe will develop into an amazing player also. I'm sure of it. You have to think about how these players will be with another two to three years development in the right environment.

For me Toumpas and Howe both have too much potential and with pick 9 it's a loss. I also believe Roos wouldn't trade Howe or Toumpas.

The only way I see this working is trading pick 9, perhaps our pick in the 50's and someone on the outer.

We still have the nucleus of a fantastic list if it can be developed the right way and Roos would be the first to recognise this.

Kennedy is the perfect example of a player who blossomed under Roos and the environment that was provided. It's no different for someone like Howe or Toumpas.

IF Josh K rumour true we have wasted pick 2. Big if.

depend on whether he is contracted or not... Could be a chaper pick up then most think...

Kennedy for Toumpas?

thats just crazy talk.... How old is Kennedy?

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
