Depends on how much say, and how much looking at things, Jackson has and needs.

Do another 3 or 4 smashings really matter as opposed to doing what needs to be done properly?

I don't think he will, honestly don't know that it makes much of a difference.

Who will be interim coach? Craig or Viney?

Wish he would, but unfortunately I honestly can't see it happening. If we don't get better, I can't see that he will last the year, but I don't think it will happen just yet.

For the board to back Neeld in after this would be to turn it's back on the clubs supporters, we are all sick of this crap, we should have beaten gold coast, the club, players, coaches are divided and lack any sort of leadership,

we are in worse shape than when Bailey was sacked in my opinion.

and Neeld will sit there and preach the same excuses in the presser.

I won't go to another game as long as Neeld is there, we as supporters deserve better.

Probably not but he just showed he cannot coach. 10 goal loss to GC on our own ground. OUR HOME TURF.

There is not a scintilla of respect for this club ATM....he is accountable for this.

Not this week.

At worst, I can see him being a lame duck coach whilst back room dealings are made for the remainder of the season.

No self-respecting career coach would want to take over this rabble of a playing group.

No but if this shite continues I don't think he will be coaching 2014

Blame the players, lol, get him out. Say it Nathan Jones' face Neeld. The see if you can blame the players

He won't but he should, he is obviously out of his depth and he may even resign but I doubt it.

We have made an unbelievable mistake and I don't think the Board/Club have a clue what to do about it. After the way Bailey was dismissed they will be ultra cautious and won't want to seem panicked but we are sliding in to oblivion and need to do something before it's too late.

I'm one of many on here, and not on here, that will probably look at each game and decide if we want to go again; I have made arrangements to go next week and will fulfil my obligation but I certainly wish I wasn't.

It used to be fun and a great day going to the football but it certainly isn't anymore there is just no joy there now, even in the dark days of the 70's it was better than this.

Must go. How can us supporters continue to out up with this. I have been to all games bar today but how can we accept that totally insipid effort.

How do I take my son and provide any semblance if hope. I simply cannot.

For the sake of our club please resign Mark and give someone else a chance to give us some glimmer. Please look at the stats and realise we are some far backwards from where we were two years ago it is not funny.

Surely the board have been working on a transition plan since round 1, on the posibility this situation eventuated.

Hopefully Craig will take over, and hopefully we can get rid of some of the deadwood "Assistant/Line Coaches".

Amateur Hour.

That's making the assumption that this board is competent.

Big call.

I don't think it will be this wk, but if things don't improve, more than likely he won't see out the season.

We will get creamed again and again over the next 4 wks, but i don't think that will speak as loudly about neeld as getting thumped by GCS today does!!!

He should be. More than deserves it.

However, with our financial situation and a CEO who's been there a week, I think he'll be safe.

Unfortunately.

we are bad and we know a big reason is our midfield, I hope we van get some mids for 2014, imo that will make a big difference

I honestly believe the players dislike Neeld they certainly do not put their bodies on the line for him if anything when they get a chance to make the situation worse they seem to do it

The comment by Jackson that we haven't honestly seen if he can coach is a worry as it means Neeld will get time to further destroy our club

It has made me think more about the role of Craig,

What actually has he done??? He has escaped all criticism, He has coached a finals team and is very experienced. He is very active around training and yet he also seems incapable of changing the train crash that is Melbourne.

Remember, Viney, Rawlings, Connolly have all coached at senior level as well. They can't all be shocking coaches.

There is something very very wrong.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.

  • CASEY: Williamstown

The Casey Demons issued a strong statement to the remaining teams in the VFL race with a thumping 76-point victory in their Elimination Final against Williamstown. This was the sixth consecutive win for the Demons, who stormed into the finals from a long way back with scalps including two of the teams still in flag contention. Senior Coach Taylor Whitford would have been delighted with the manner in which his team opened its finals campaign with high impact after securing the lead early in the game when Jai Culley delivered a precise pass to a lead from Noah Yze, who scored his first of seven straight goals for the day. Yze kicked his second on the quarter time siren, by which time the Demons were already in control. The youngster repeated the dose in the second term as the Seagulls were reduced to mere

Narrm time isn’t a standard concept—it’s the time within the traditional lands of Narrm, the Woiwurrung name for Melbourne. Indigenous Round runs for rounds 3 and 4 and is a powerful platform to recognise the contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in sport, community, and Australian culture. This week, suburban footy returns to the infamous Victoria Park as the mighty Narrm take on the Collingwood Magpies at 1:05pm Narrm time, Sunday 31 August. Come along if you can.
