Rivers and Moloney have both left giant holes.

tom mac is a young player getting a game purely because he is a young player .He cant mark ,cannot spoil effectively ,his recovery is poor and he is a deplorable kick .Would not even be considered at any other club .His drafting at 53 flatters him .I don't even think he was much last year .Probably good enough for the seniors at Edenhope but that's about it .How could we let the Lions isolate him against Leuenberg? Talk about a disaster waiting to happen ..Words fail me .

I would say on last years form, TMac could have spoilt Leuenberger's marking attempts & then would have run off him with the ball.

Jordie was so out of his depth yesteday that i wondered about the process that saw him in the ones.

Not in any where near his best form at present, when he is going badly he is truely shocking.

Nearly every time he got near it he actually fell over before grabbing at it. then stuffed up the disposal.

Have you just noticed. He's played most of his career on his knees. Footballers cardinal sin

When Tom originally arrived Iwas taken by his marking and watched for his senior's arrival. I enjoyed it for much of last year except I noticed he was becoming purely a defensive 'puncher'. I expected him to have improved this year but have become disappointed. My question now is where will we find ataller andfast CHB, It baffled me why Martin was banished from the backline. It always frustrated me when the opposing tall forwards were dwarfing our backs (remember Cloke on Rivers) I wished at least Martin be given a game.. So much for that. So where to now. Garland has plateaued and is basically a 3rd or 4th tall backman. I was disappointed they got rid of Sheahan so soon. Progress reports seemed positive but that was from written reports.

On the list I can only see one player who has the attributes for the job, admittedly not yet. Fitzpatrick is tall enough and has the pace. Places are filling up on the forward line. Clarke Dawes Hogan Gawn Howe. So maybe someone from this list needs to be given the Key position backline jog. If not Fitz. Maybe Clark or Dawes

put your panties back on drama queen. he was awesome last year

the other thing about jellyfish, apart from their complete lack of spine, is their extremely short memories

Jordie kicked a pretty good goal, but looked out of touch with his disposal, seldom hit a target. He has been out a couple of weeks, so hopefully he's better for the run and comes good next week.

Tommy Mac having "post polled surprisingly lwell in last years Truscott" blues, he'll come good I have no doubt about that. Probably down on confidence like half of our backline, with amount of ball coming in and no midfield pressure, he can be excused at the moment.

I was really disappointed with Jordy. He's in the team to repeat the type of game he played against Goddard. If he can't do that I think his skill set is a little limited to compete against a couple of newbies.

I think the matchups have not helped McDonald the last two weeks. He's been left on the stay at home forwards in Setanta and the resting ruckman, while Chip was on the leading forwards in Brown and Cameron.

Clearly Tmac is more suited to these leading forwards than the big guys, chip is strong enough to handle the big men and it also allow him to run and create more. Poor coaching the last two weeks on this front.

Tom McDonald was seriously overrated by some on these boards through-out last year and for the start of 2013. But how old is he now? Turning 21? [censored], given the performance of our midfield, not even Frawley is looking good, in fact none of our KPD's are. Let alone a fella basically in his 2nd year at the club. His form will naturally fluctuate for someone so young. Plus let's not ignore the fact that he was playing on 2 guys (Longer and Luenberger) who were about 10cms and 10kgs bigger than him.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov
