We've beaten ourselves up about our losses, biggest loss ever at the G etc etc, so equally if we score our highest ever quarter, we need to acknowledge that. We know there's a mountain to climb, but right now to bang on 12 goals when we were 19 points down is something to take a bit of confidence, especially when the club is under the mountain of pressure that we find ourselves.

There is a loooong way to go but for once, let's just enjoy it. I'm guessing it's going to be a long season. Let's take small mercies where we can find them.

OK so what happened??

MItch went off but what changes were made that sparked things??

I hear Jones was involved in 4 goals and hit the packs hard but anything else someone can shed some light on???

There was a lot of hunger and effort at the start of the last - i guess that lead to belief and it fed through the whole team, looking forward to watching that again

I was there and enjoyed the win. Its like the lights went on at three quarter time. I was very nervous for the first half but always felt that we had it in us to win. The crowd support (at least where I was sitting) was tremendous. I will take a win. It gave me glimpses of what might be...

    Demonland Trackwatchers braved the scorching morning heat to bring you the following observations of Wednesday's preseason training session from Gosch's Paddock.     Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields. Rehab: Jake Lever and Charlie Spargo running laps.  Lever was running short distances at a fast click as well as having kick to kick with a trainer. He seems unimpeded.     THAT WAS THE YEAR THAT WAS: 2024

    Whichever way you look at it, the Melbourne Football Club’s 2024 season can only be characterized as the year of its fall from grace. Whispering Jack looks back at the season from hell that was. After its 2021 benchmark premiership triumph, the men’s team still managed top four finishes in the next two seasons but straight sets finals losses consigned them to sixth place in both years.
