Addition to Demonland Code of Conduct

What if someone takes my joke seriously, do they get penalised too?

I want to be clear on this new rule. Perhaps if we can define what "joking" entails..

I would curtail my hilarity but if my banality is premeditated is that an offence against the CoC?

Or is it as long as I try my utmost to be amusing in the actual post?

What about jokes from 2009?

Will Demonland cop a retrospective fine for not deleting them immediately???

Posters on here think we're tough on them when they're sanctioned for swearing, flaming etc.

Try getting an 11 month ban for an in-house, off-the-cuff joke.

JOKE POLICY: As a result of AFL policy as stated on Tuesday 19 February, 2013 all posters are warned that the consequences of joking on the site may have substantial negative

implications on them and the Club.

What if it's only a weak joke? Will we be able to negotiate a reduced penalty?

There goes my post count.

2 Peanuts walking down the street...one was a salted...

I feel threatened by that joke.

I feel threatened by that joke.

so you should.

It's the funniest joke ever told. The English used it against the Bosch in WW2...!!!

I feel threatened by that joke.

More of a pun really.

Which should incur a severe flogging or a day in the stocks.

Jimmy Toumpas is the next Cale Morton.

Please Dazzle,don't mozz him.

If the"silky outside type" becomes "soft, hesitant"

and people start comparing him to Ollie Wines in year one I will freak.

It will likely happen so I should prepare myself mentally.

Funny watching Chris Masten the other night being just another reason why Cale will not get more than a game or two this year.

Jimmy Toumpas/Ollie Wines, Jack W/Nic Nat Morton/Masten.

Its a modern day slave trade of 18 year olds .Except we pay them.

Some gladiators make it ,some don't.

Anyway, we may get Wines as well one day, to keep Toumpas honest.

Make them eat crow.

Jimmy Toumpas is the next Cale Morton.

Love it dd.

Bought a rare smile on this black day.

Thanks

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
