Mitch's Big Day Out

Featured Replies

Thread title scared me. Not a good thing at my age - especially as I'm not renewing my membership 'til next week!

Even the author has distanced himself from him - "the former Tasmanian."

Pity he came away bruise free.

Bad Mitch bad.

Good Mitch good.

Waste of space on the planet.

Love a good bit of dirt...pics don't lie and there's plenty of cameras about.

It would have been nice to have Jesse Hogan doing some work experience as security at the big day out. We could have sent tickets to Mclean as a late xmas gift.

Every headline with "Swan out" gives pies supporters heart pulputations:)

The life as a football player

I'll wait for the full story. Remember how many stories the Herald Sun got out of our boxing day incident?

This is the time to rush to conclusions and speculate.

Not the time for sensible consideration.

I'll wait for the full story. Remeber how many stories the herald sun got out of our boxing day incident?

But this is the kind of behavior you expect from that Carlton muppet.

Guys like Frawley and Rivers (these days anyway) have their heads screwed on a lot tighter than Mitch Robinson.

imo thats part of the car'ton breeding ritual

he's just shakin his tail feather

dancin wit' his man (see behind)

Oh mitch, was it bruise free?

McLean was there and I can assure you he wasn't just high on life!!! Also saw James Magner he'd definitely had a few drinks was standing about 2 metres (it was jam packed) from him during the red hot chilly peppers set he almost got in a fight with a big Kiwi fella. Jimmy was standing up for his mate but certainly wasn't gonna back down.

haha..really? Clean nose Mitsubishi? I thought he was our poster boy for healthy living.

Not having a go, but he's certainly not on the list of names I'd expect to be getting into a [censored] bust up.

You seen the way he dresses like he has swag? And ghetto shakes with Eddie Betts mid game? [censored].

James was ok just having a good time his mate got into an argument with the kiwi fellas girlfriend and James was just the mediator but was no means gonna back down! Brock on the other hand he was having the time of his life

Standard BDO behaviour ... Nothin in it

You reckon? I'd suggests out on the street the actions of one or both would equate to assault and are exactly the type that have resulted in a lot of young lives being ruined/ended. Fortunately this dust up was on the grass. Would expect him to be rubbed out by his club for a couple of games.

His club rubbed Heath Scotland out for only two games after he pleaded guilty to a fairly viscious assault and was placed on a two-year good behaviour bond (without conviction). IMO, after reading the outlines of some of the witness statements, he was lucky in that both the court and his club imposed lenient sentences.

On that basis, Mitch gets an extra 10 push ups at the next Carlton training session.

Seriously?? I was watching that bit of video and wondering when the trouble was going to start... it showed absolutely nothing bar a couple of guys attempting some wrestling. Seen worse on the field of play.

you'd think the drug testers will be out in full force at VISY park tomorrow morning.. how long does the good stuff stay in your system for?

Come off it mate. I know you want to sound tough, but if you think that sort of thing is acceptable at a public concert you're just flat out wrong.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.
