Don't have any links but my uncle heard it on the radio yesterday.

They should also be investigated for paying Richard Tambling, anything...

hahaha...gold!

If the crows are doing it, just about everyone is.

It's just a matter of if you get caught. I would put my house on the bigger clubs, and most out of Victoria having dodgy payments to players.

Do you think the Storm were the only team in the NRL to have 2 sets of books?

I can't believe the pies didn't lose a top player to GWS or GCSuns... How is it so? And then we wonder how they kept Travis Cloke?

there is 78 players on third party deals , most are only 20 or 30 k but there seems to be a few Like Judd's but from what was said his is the most

this was in the paper , i will find the link

Except us that is. We've not had the dough to pay the full amount of the cap, let alone exceed it.

We have been paying the full cap by front loading. And its not because we don't have the money - we have a young list.

Hey WYL. Have you sorted out the problem with the cranes yet?

Surely this can't be an unsolvable issue

Even with the cranes how could this be "easily the ABC's most expensive show". Comments?

Only in the media hardtack. afl has said that they knew of and had signed off on those other "deals"

Maybe, but the AFL had also decided we weren't tanking in the past... it has now been proven that trial by media can force their hand.

You can always sight "new Evidence has come forward" hardtack.

Exactly OD, and I would think that perhaps the HUN are trying to catch back some ground from (is that even a valid expression?) Corowhine.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
