If anyone is like me, and I'm sure some of you are, you get excited by the idea of looking at our new senior list and seeing all the new names we've added over the last few weeks!

Finally, Melbourne have update it all, putting the new recruits on the website > http://www.melbourne...12/default.aspx

Just a question about young Hogan; it was my impression of the mini draft that we draft him this year, he doesn't play until 2014, but is still on our list next year, to train and whatnot. So does anybody know why he hasn't been put onto the list? I was thinking it was merely an administration error, but the other names have been up for a few days now.

Any light shed on the situation would be great.

Cheers

He won't be on our list till 2014.

How shattered are you now? 18 months ...... Dawes, Clark and Hogan...can't wait to watch them play together.

Rodan listed as 187cms. I thought him to be much smaller like 177cms. It must be a mistake.

The list looks good. More balanced with guys who have proven themselves at AFL level to developing players. Gone are the VFL champions but AFL nobody;s

We may get to see it in the NAB cup, O'Meara was granted to permission to play with the Suns this year, no reason Hogan couldn't either if we want to play him.

Hogan is signed to the club and will play for Casey next year (probably), but does not take up a spot on our list until the 2014 season.

And yes, I am excited by the look of the list right now, and very much looking forward to seeing some of the guys who haven't been regulars push up for selection. Obviously, I'm hoping to see some real talent emerging in the next year or two and the club to hit it's straps and push for a finals spot. Would be nice if that happened.

Maybe he's grown in stature since joining the grand old club.

I like the way Neeld came out in the herald sun today explaining each of his picks and the reaons for getting the experienced players. Also interetsing he has got Rodan helping out Viney. I suspect he was having a go at past coaching staff when he spoke about un realistic expectations on players and 4 years later they are still dealing with it. Obvious its WAtts who he is talking about. Im glad he has taken the right approach.

When you say "it" are you referring to "HULK"

Is Viney some sort of Ghost man, no height, no weight. Some sort of superhero perhaps.

If Hogen is signed up already and doesn't start on the senior list till 2014 does that mean he will have a 3 year contract to the normal 2 year contract the new draftees would get?

Does anybody know the answer of this?

The guy who does the updates of there Wight and height was to scared to ask Viney just in case he got it wrong.

Guys I had been in QLD till last Sunday and may have missed it.

Before I left there were a number of players that had still not been signed up.

e.g.. Dunn, Spencer, Bartram and McDonald etc.

Has there been any news on these guys?

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round. 2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
