To be fair to the bloke it's been reported by other journos outside of Hagdorn. Doesn't mean there is any truth to the rumour but he certainly didn't pluck it from nowhere.

Its a strange old world, the virtual one. Not really a Monfries fan in the context of the MFC. Have concerns over his work ethic and mental attitude.

I agree that we need some more forward options but what we need more than anything is players that command respect. I wouldn't put him in the top 50% in the league in that regard. I'd be concerned that he'd be another not quite big enough, not quite strong enough type.
