Demonland confirms that following discussions, it has been agreed that Range Rover will explore Free Agency opportunities.

The forum would like to thank and acknowledge RR for his contributions over many seasons. Rangie won the Barry Prendergast Memorial Trophy, as Best in Hindsight in 2011, 2012 and 2008. His memorable contributions include: "Why oh why doesn't my Darling love me enough to come to Melbourne", "Poll: who needs to go" (in which the options were Watts or Predergast and RR did quite well in a late surge) , "Poll: Watts or Naitanui; did we get it wrong or did we just [censored] up big time" and the all-time favourite "Demonland posters are to accepting of my polls –no more excuses."

Melbourne coach Mark Neeld said, “We respect RR’s position, and the fact that he has been up front with us throughout the process, and his decision not to get on the reality bus or wear anything other than his rear view mirrored sunglasses. This is the new world of planning for the future - RR is a restricted past agent and the rules of the forum allow him to explore these opportunities and to poll everyone about them as well. We wish him well for the future past, which he loves to talk about so much.”

RR said, “I have enjoyed my time at Demonland, but it’s now time to pursue other opportunities including flirting with Bomberblitz which hasn't exploited the opportunities to demolish the weapon. I am grateful for everything the Club has given me other than Pick 1 in 2008, that disastrous pick 12 for a forward and frankly just about every other pick made in between. I have built great relationships with Melbourne's recruiting staff and I wish all involved the best for their past indiscretions because they will haunt them for the rest of their lives just like I will. I am planning a short break in Perth and Fiji before I decide my next move. ”

Range rover isn't the worst on here by any stretch. Someone else who's initials also happen to be RR absolutely does my head in with his stupid posts and his whining and moaning about every little thing posted that's slightly controversial or hard on someone. The day he pisses off the better we'll all be.

Rr, maybe you'd hold more weight if you pulled the silver spoon out of your mouth.

Bit rough. I was just taking the mickey out of RR. I've got no drama with RR. If someone on a footy forum can get you riled up I think a scotch is in order.

Shouldn't they award the 2012 hindsight award in 2013?

Maybe we should run an old fashioned RR style poll on it?

Where is RR?

Range, not Rhino....

Has he been blocked? Surely not......

He might have been poached by 'Roy Morgan research' :)

Come back Rangey , we need more polls !

Thank you gentlemen. I take it all in good spirit and am kind of chuffed that I've managed to impact you all in such a profound way.

I know the results of my posts and polls have irked some. Just shining a light on the truth so's we can all see a way out of this mess.

Hopefully some of you will have emerged from this season on Demonland a little wiser for my efforts.

For those who refuse to, al I can say is ... try not to fear change so much. And ... enjoy the player cull ! B)

Steady RR, as I read your posts I am usually reminded of a certain Grant Thomas.....I am all for balance so your contributions are welcome but thankfully there are a few of us at the other end of the plank

    WILDCARDS by KC from Casey

Casey’s season continued to drift into helplessness on Sunday when they lost another home game by a narrow margin, this time six points, in their Round 13 clash with North Melbourne’s VFL combination. The game was in stunning contrast to their last meeting at the same venue when Casey won the VFL Wildcard Match by 101 points. Back then, their standout players were Brodie Grundy and James Jordon who are starring in the AFL with ladder leaders, the Sydney Swans (it turned out to be their last

    LIFE SUPPORT by Whispering Jack

With Melbourne’s season hanging on a thread, Saturday night’s game against North Melbourne unfolded like a scene in a hospital emergency department.  The patient presented to the ward in a bad way. Doctors and nurses pumped life-saving medication into his body and, in the ensuing half hour, he responded with blood returning to his cheeks as he stirred back to life. After a slight relapse, the nurses pumped further medication into the bloodstream and the prognosis started looking good as the

GAMEDAY: Rd 15 vs North Melbourne

It's Game Day and it very well could be the last roll of the dice for the Demon's finals aspirations in 2024. A loss to the bottom side would be another embarrassing moment in a cursed year for the Dees whilst a win could be the spark they need to reignite the fire in the belly.

    THE HUNTER by The Oracle

Something struck me as I sat on the couch watching the tragedy of North Melbourne’s attempt to beat Collingwood unfold on Sunday afternoon at the MCG.    It was three quarter time, the scoreboard had the Pies on 12.7.79, a respectable 63.16% in terms of goal kicking ratio. Meanwhile, the Roos’ 18.2.110 was off the charts at 90.00% shooting accuracy. I was thinking at the same time of Melbourne’s final score only six days before, a woeful 6.15.51 or 28.57% against Collingwood’s 14.5.89

    FROZEN by Whispering Jack

Who would have thought?    Collingwood had a depleted side with several star players out injured, Max Gawn was in stellar form, Christian Petracca at the top of his game and Simon Goodwin was about to pull off a masterstroke in setting Alex Neal-Bullen onto him to do a fantastic job in subduing the Magpies' best player. Goody had his charges primed to respond robustly to the challenge of turning around their disappointing performance against Fremantle in Alice Springs. And if not that, t
