Does learning to become an Elite team with Elite standards mean the off season needs to be treated as such. If we are fair dinkum about our direction as a whole then surely the the multi day bender that is mad Monday should be hit on the head. Especially after this season.

Thoughts?

I'm preparing for the worst possible news to come our way... Clark and Jones locked up... In a Bangcock prison, looking at life, for killing Tom McDonald and Jeremy Howe. Moloney knuckles down, signs 3 year deal.

Actually, I was hoping you would say you didn't.

If your predictions are correct then we are royally screwed.

The club should stop it this year seriously. I love a good drink. But these guys didn't get out of first gear in 2012.

Round one was [censored] and nothing changed.

The supporters deserve the mad monday.

It will be interesting to see how many players take the full six weeks leave, if I was them I would be back at the club after four.

I imagine many will be on permanent vacation.

I heard a interview with Port's Chad wingard on SEN and he said he would have maybe one week off and would then be back into it because he is young and is worried about being left behind in terms of fitness and skill. If a player from bloody Port gets what it takes to be a player then I hope our players do to. All the money and FD resources can't make good attitudes and efforts.

A celebration suggests you actually have something to celebrate or have achieved something. On that basis, Nathan Jones and a couple of others should grab an esky and find a pnone booth to party in.

I'll invite Jones to my place for some well earned drinks. The rest can mow my lawns.

Woo-hoo-wer'e a joke!

Lucky we get an opportunity to disgrace ourselves in public one last time for 2012.

Although with our luck there will be more.

few of the boys are off to thailand and bali and to attend the infamous full moon party..

They look like they have been on acid all year so another "trip" wont hurt .

I reckon the season is too long and they should get their 6-8 weeks off or more.(No Joke)

Some guys need to assess whether they should be playing AFL or not-to stop wasting everyones energy .

Guys like Frawley ,Garland ,Rivers ,Sellars and Dunn need to make the step up to A grade.

Good enough is not good enough.

Happy holidays men-have a good think .

No doubt they've put more effort into planning and prepping for this than actually playing football for the last month or two.

The boys deserve a break - I have no problems with the 'Mad Monday' tradition.

I hope they come back fresh ready to put in 100% to Neeld & Missions demands

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session.
