The fact is we're one win away from a rosy future. Don't let things get you down, buddy. Look for what's wrong with the place, but don't become overly pessimistic.

We are playing badly enough trying to switch to winning the hard ball, & just being responsible for an opponent.

We are struggling enough with these issues alone, & apparently the old school don't like the new hard work ethic being put through the club.

I think Neeld is rebuilding the list in his own image, and that begins with learning to dominate the contested footy, before they move onto the next facet of the game.

It's not working now, but I think this ignorance of uncontested footy is very intentional.

These games, although worth 4 points, are like practice matches for us where we are working on a certain aspect and getting it right before we move onto the next.

If this is what is happening, it is very different, and it's well beyond me whether it will work or not.

Here's hoping.

It's funny I was just discussing this with my ol man tonight ([censored] making me barrack 4 Melbourne many lean years ago) trying to reason with him as to why Neeld was the right man still after WC game last week. Tonight I couldnt help but agree with him, we were in it yday albeit 1 f'n qtr that cost us dearly, I thought Neeld was testing us and trying to build a resolve in these players, but 4 f's sake, why wouldn't you stem the flow in the 3rd qtr , try to frustrate a 2nd rate team like Richmond which aren't on the improve let me tell you, and perhaps have a sniff at 3qtr time I ask you. I'm concrned this guys tearing us all a new [censored] and it's going to take a Lot longer than 5 yrs to rebuild. I'm sorry guys but I proceeded to go home in the 3rd like most sorrowful MFc supporters soul which I never do to spend more time with my son (the future)! stuff wasting my weekends on this horse [censored]. My messgAe to the players is , get their [censored] togetheer and if they don't it doesn't matter they'll just move to another club and round n round the freakin circus we go....
