Jetta... Not for round one now he's done a wrist but is missing.

I think you'll find it's an ankle.

What other club & Supporters would keep putting up with this except us??

We do. But what are we suppose to do? Should I write to Mark Neeld and demand better? Complain on internet message boards and talkback radio? That's pretty much all true supporters can do.

The less devoted supporters just stop buying memberships and stop turning up to games. And guess what? they have already all left!

Possible inclusions

Bail

Grimes

Gysberts

Jurrah

Mcdonald

Magner

Sellar

Tapscott

Strauss

Watts

Don't know if swapping those players above for any out on the ground would make too much difference to be honest.

Jamar still dominating the taps. Nice if somebody got to one.

What can you do???

I am just observing....our players have the wrong Mindset & have had for years, but the club keeps rewarding them with Cash & Blazers.

In the old days if you played in the 2's...You got no pay.

Maybe $250 a win and $40 a loss?

Who subbed off?

No official call but haven't heard anything from Tynan, Martin, Bartram - this quarter and apparently Couch and maybe McDonald are on. I'll keep you posted as I pick things up.

From twitter those three are confirmed and Bate is the sub this quarter and Bennell is also on.

I don't know if it's the wrong mindset or the fact they're just not good enough. Our recruiting over the past 6 or 7 years appears to have been a total failure. Dunn, Bate, Morton, Maric, Strauss, Blease, Bennell, Jetta - Maric has already gone (and was a bust) and the rest of them will likely play out their careers at Melbourne in the VFL before being delisted, traded at the age of 25-26. This is 25% of our list and is only off the top of my head.

Others like Grimes and Gawn are perputually injured so anything out of them is a bonus.

Then you have guys like Davey & Sylvia who have what it takes but don't have the desire to become elite and will just plod along for the rest of their careers showing brilliane three or four games a year and making supporters pull out their hair for the other 18 games.

Good news that will no doubt help.

So essentially our near full strength side is being whalloped by a supposed bottom four side with several big names missing.

Good season ahead.

Especially if we keep kicking into the man on the mark when kicking for goal.

Nice one Clarky.

    TRAINING: Monday 11th November 2024

Veteran Demonland Trackwatchers Kev Martin, Slartibartfast & Demon Wheels were on hand at Gosch's Paddock to kick off the official first training session for the 1st to 4th year players with a few elder statesmen in attendance as well. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Beautiful morning. Joy all round, they look like they want to be there.  21 in the squad. 2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. There could be more of that in 2025. 2024 Player Reviews: #3 Christian Salem

The luckless Salem suffered a hamstring injury against the Lions early in the season and, after missing a number of games, he was never at his best. He was also inconvenienced by minor niggles later in the season. This was a blow for the club that sorely needed him to fill gaps in the midfield at times as well as to do his best work in defence.
