Is it just me or do others feel the same about trade week.

There are as many stories as people who want to create them.

I suspect that 90% of the stories we see are based on very little if any hard evidence.

So I will believe a story when it is proved to be a fact.

i.e. when a player is reported to have officially moved then it is fact up till then it just the figment of someone's imagination.

Same old dee. As Tim Harrington said about 2 % of the stories being floated around trade week come off and are true. The rest is really spak filler. Clearly it gets the blood pumping for some and like our resident member daisycutter it represents a chance to boost their post count. haha.

I think it would be worthwhile after 5pm Thursday and at the conclusion on Monday for results.

I heard (third hand) of a club official describing trade week as "that week where we try to offload all our players that are no good, and every other club tries to do the same". Pretty much sums it up, really.

Anyway this can be a sign of how bad degenerating knee injuries can be? what is Cooney 25 and could be a shadow of himself? struggled this year and apparently takes alot of pain suppressants to get a game in.

Speaking of Bananas, Mrs Redleg wanted to share a banana smoothie for lunch and I declined saying we had not traded anyone and there was nothing to celebrate. Skinny Latte was the substitute.
