maybe it was just a reflection of his opinion on trade week, ernie

Yes he probably deserves the benefit of doubt Daisy. I would not normally give a lawyer such liberty or consideration, but Redlegs posts do suggest he is a good bloke.

Let's say I need to do a lot of driving (12 hours to get home) and flying, otherwise I will break my must follow rule number 1.

Rule 1 is happy wife = happy life.

Rule number 2 ........... No wife..........no strife

I would have expected that you were more protective of your personal and professional reputation Redleg.

I had the mistaken idea that were a person of taste and a certain lets just say "je ne sais quoi."

Anyone else out there like the drink Malibu?  I do and got 2 bottles for $52.00 at local Safeway. Good value me thinks.

Will have a few shots during trade week, as will probably need them.

I agree RL, nice beach but there were a few pretentious people around when I was last there.

Just fell off my chair,  a straight honest answer from a lawyer. A rare virtue these days.

Pink as Chairman of the Board of this thread, let me welcome you and thank for that bit of Footy news.

As you will learn, this is the most informative thread on Demonland and all types of news are welcome, even of the footy variety.

Feel free to share your news and views with the other intellectuals on the thread.

Also remember the moral code, no drinking before 9.30 AM.

I have a wire coat hanger if you ever need one.

I don't know whether there's any significance in this but someone on the Hawthorn supporter site has just started a thread entitled "The No J£ No B$ Thread".

Thanks for that Ethan, you just rekindled some mental images that I thought were well and truly repressed.

  • CASEY: Essendon

Casey’s unbeaten run was extended for at least another fortnight after the Demons overran a persistent Essendon line up by 29 points at ETU Stadium in Port Melbourne last night. After conceding the first goal of the evening, Casey went on a scoring spree from about ten minutes in, with five unanswered majors with its fleet of midsized runners headed by the much improved Paddy Cross who kicked two in quick succession and livewire Ricky Mentha who also kicked an early goal. Leading the charge was recruit of the year, Riley Bonner while Bailey Laurie continued his impressive vein of form. With Tom Campbell missing from the lineup, Will Verrall stepped up to the plate demonstrating his improvement under the veteran ruckman’s tutelage. The Demons were looking comfortable for much of the second quarter and held a 25-point lead until the Bombers struck back with two goals in the shadows of half time. On the other side of the main break their revival continued with first three goals of the half. Harry Sharp, who had been quiet scrambled in the Demons’ first score of the third term to bring the margin back to a single point at the 17 minute mark and the game became an arm-wrestle for the remainder of the quarter and into the final moments of the last.
