Davey a chance for Darwin? I wouldn't think so but who knows. Hopefully we pick Aussie back up in Darwin, I thought this game would be the deciding point on whether he rejoins us or not. Fingers crossed.

He thinks so. Kids asked him yesterday at the clinic and he reckons he will be back for the Darwin game

I think there are guys ahead of him for selection on form.

Addam Maric (27 kicks, 6 handballs, 5 marks) - an excellent four quarter display from Maric who gave great rebound in a team that struggled for consistency all day.

Luke Tapscott (16 kicks, 2 handballs, 6 marks) - showed great strength and is a beautiful kick of the football. A similar outing at this level next week should see him promoted back to the Melbourne side.

Tapscott also has to his credit a "sickening head clash" which resulted in his opponent being stretchered off - credit in that he was hard at the ball (not of course that his opponent was injured - perish the thought as tempting as it is).

They will get another game this weekend to press their case. It will be a test for selectors whether to choose two (hopefully) proven fit and in form players over someone returning from injury.

Davey shouldn't play in Darwin, fitness and form against him. Tapscott should be a chance, MAric should definately come in for Bennell.

Will be good to have Bail in the side. We really lacked a defensive side on friday night, something Davey will not bring.

Aaron Davey's name is all he has at the moment. Let it NOT fool us. 2011 has been one to forget for him.

Tappy ahead.

I'd bring in Davey for sure if available. He's had a tough year, but we know what he can do. Bring him in for Morton

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round. 2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. There could be more of that in 2025.
