I like the marshmallow idea. Im am buying a pack tommoro! We need to do something... this isn't a mfc thing this is an AFL thing! All lovers of our great game are effected by this, some are blinded by the fact that he was wearing a mfc gurnsey but he was wearing a afl one when he got rubbed out! Adrian Anderson must go!

Bring along score cards like they use at Diving events. Every tackle you hold up a score. 1 week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks... Get the entire cheer squad in on it and it'd be noticed all right.

That is good...serious with a good bit of Aussie humour, which the AFL do not have.

BOMBARD KB's show on SEN Tomorrow morning demons....i am so sick of that little Ned Flanders clone!!!

im just not going to this game.... too [censored] off..

How does that help anyone?

We lost one player to a poor decision, it has been happening since the existance

of the competition.

Get over it. Go tomorrow and enjoy the game win lose or draw.

Protest for Jack, by being that little bit louder in support of the team. That's what Jack would want.

Sitting outside isn't going to make a difference. Nor is going on a 2 hour famine.

My suggestions for banners:

  • 3 Weeks for Jack's Hit
  • The AFL doesn't know Jack's Hit
  • Who took Azaria? Jack did.
  • Who shot JFK? Jack did.
  • A handshake from Jack will cost him 3 weeks.

Feel free to plagiarise / improve etc.

Maybe the players should remove or cover-up the AFL logo on their jumpers

Or they could all run through the banner wearing helmets...

Won't happen but would be a nice message

Yeah I like this idea, just cver it up with black tape or something. Although I dont want players to distracted from the game. The best message is to win I think and win well. Lay a few huge tackles!

I like something built around "Jack's hit"

"AFL doesn't know Jack's hit"

needs more work.....hmmm

I agree High Tower - we need to turn up in numbers and support the team proudly and loudly.

The only way to answer is to win and/or provide a spirited content and show the football world what we stand for and that we are on the rise

We should all send as many Marshmellows to AFL House in protest ala the campaign in the US to save the TV show Jericho from cancellation where fans sent 18,000 kg of nuts to the CBS network.

Fan protest saves US show Jericho

Post-apocalypse TV drama Jericho has been saved from cancellation following an internet campaign by its fans.

US TV network CBS axed the show last month, triggering a protest that culminated in shipments of nuts being sent to the broadcaster.

"Wow!" said CBS Entertainment President Nina Tassler in a letter to the fans. "You got our attention."

Tassler said seven new episodes of the drama had been ordered, with more to follow if ratings improve.

"We will count on you to rally around the show, to recruit new viewers with the same grass-roots energy, intensity and volume you have displayed in recent weeks," said Tassler.

"PS. Please stop sending us nuts."

'Incredible'

Jericho is set in a Kansas town whose residents have survived a series of nuclear explosions throughout the US.

The show launched last autumn to positive reviews and encouraging ratings.

After it returned from a three-month mid-season break, however, its viewing figures plummeted, prompting CBS to cancel the show.

The decision enraged fans, who started a letter-writing campaign.

After the season finale, in which one of the characters responds to a demand by saying "nuts", protesters also began sending peanuts to CBS offices.

According to the Nuts For Jericho campaign website, about 18,000 kg of nuts were delivered before the network capitulated.

Yeah, i heard that...We need to win games to make our points stronger...this club is perceived as a joke or an annoyance to the greater media.

If Chris Judd was charged with the same offense what would the penalty be??? 3 weeks....

Yeah I had to switch off the radio when he came on, he doesn't even TRY to see the other point of view and continuously cut people off during their argument to make them seem foolish (mind you many people who ring in can sound pretty foolish on their own!). Case in point, one listener started to say that Trengoves tackle was an accidental part of the game and as soon as he said the word accidental....BAM! KB cut him off and said, "well it wasn't accidental, it was incidental as stated my the MRP", just because they say something is doesn't make it so Bartlett. People are allowed to have opinions.

Protests would be a bit baffling for the 99% of people at the game who don't read the forum. Better hand out some leaflets outside

P.S - The banner should read JACK TRENGOVE KILLS [censored] DEAD

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
