There are two things I am certain we can agree on!

If we win we will both be happy and if we lose we will both be sad.

The rest is all just opinion.

Car'n the DEES

You were right O.D. And unfortunately, I was sadly off the money lol (the ever optimist of 40+ years....arghh)

I am sad. (Actually i'm not, just annoyed and frustrated etc. The usual feelings most Deminions have after yet another crappy effort)

I tips me hat mate :)

Looking forward to your next preview versus Saints. Then again maybe i wont like what i'm gonna read lol.

After yesterday's effort and all the outs we have, the Saints will have to lose about 10 players today if we're to have any show i'd think.

RN this is one of times that it gives me no joy in being correct.

However I think yesterday there were a couple of genuine excuses.

Injuries have cripial us in just 2 weeks and then we lost 2 players who have been among our best

since the start of the season.

With another couple in danger of being suspended it looks very grime for the rest of May.

Right now I am too depressed about the Dees to make much of what will happen next saturday.

Perhaps in a couple of days when I can think straight.

I thought Martin and Newton showed some effort and it was not their fault we lost.

But is bloody depressing at present feels like 2009 all over again

Yep. It is isn't it. And yeh, it does feel a little like 2009 doesn't it. And...2007, 2008, and ummm 1974, 1978, 1981, 1996 & 1997 (apart from the Richmond game towards end of season yay! Birth of the Ooz, and a few others i think).

P.S. Your use of the word Grime for Grim...nice work lol

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,

    GALLANT by KC from Casey

The world “gallant” is not one that is readily acceptable to losing teams in our game of football so when it was used in the context of the Casey Demons’ loss to Sandringham in yesterday’s match at Casey Fields, it left a bitter taste in the mouth.  The Demons went into the game against the St Kilda affiliated Zebras with the advantage of playing on their home turf (not that this has been a major asset in 2024) and with very little else going in their favour. The Saints have close to a full
