ST. KILDA IN STRIFE

Grandson of a gun

Recommended Posts

Anyone want to PM me the link to these pics? I must be the only person in Australia who hasn't seen them yet. Yes that's right, I am publicly asking to view man penis.

In any case this girl is an attention seeking vengeful piece of work who is using every form of social networking medium there is to extract her "revenge"/get herself 15 minutes of fame and it just stinks. It is troubling to think that any mentally unstable (and if you have watched DA's link you would understand) person with a computer and Internet access can cause this much mayhem so quickly and easily.

WTF is with these stupid footballers also? Why can't they just play their sport, be good role models and NOT take naked photos? If you are in the public eye, don't do anything you don't want them to see. So simple.

There is a new Facebook page purporting to be hers.

My link

Questionable authenticity but there are a couple of pics of 'Kim' there.

It's not purporting to be her page at all:

"A page for discussion surrounding Kim Isabella Duthie.

Kim is aware of this page and will quite possible be posting and responding on this page soon."

Corrected. The pics do appear to be her though.

HUN has a facebook conversation between Jane AKA Kim Duthie and "An AFL Player" which she has obviously fed them.

I cant find it online but its in the hard copy.

If she can prove who that is (one presumes it may be Gilbert) then it tells an interesting tale about the clubs culture etc as the player refers to it as "team bonding" or words to that effect.

Good luck living that down if she can authenticate it.

This from the age sums it up for me

"A child of the age of narcissism, using the uncontrolled medium of the age, acting out the age-old wrath of a woman scorned."

Couple of questions I have, how is Del Santo not getting any press? he has the more incriminating photo

Also, I have lost total respect for Nick R, not because of the photo or the whole sordid affair but because of the man gardening hes has done to his groinal region. Anyone who shaves their b@%%s is kinda wrong in my book!!

So what if he does some man-scaping? It's the norm these days.

And as for Dal Santo - he needs a PE.

I think the questions that underpin that article have merit.

Why were these blokes taking nude, sexually charged photos of each other? And why were they stored on a laptop?

Why is it anyone's business?

There's nothing illegal/sinister about them.

What does that tell you about SG.

The phrase "serious errors of judgment" doesn't even begin to cover it. He's the one who should bear the brunt of the criticism here - does an "AFL groupie" with serious issues, then dumps her when she claims to be pregnant; takes compromising photos of mates, and instead of deleting them he downloads them to his computer (god alone knows what he wants them on his computer for - he probably put them in a file on the desktop marked "embarrassing photos of teammates"). His serial stupidity has made life a lot harder for many others.

And if his computer is the source of the other photos yet to be published, he would know which players from other clubs are the potential future targets and will have told them already. Wouldn't he?

Those would be interesting conversations to listen to.

"Hey (Insert name of Carlton/Sydney/Melbourne player), I have some naked photos of you stored on my laptop, but they appear to have been stolen by a girl who might post them on the Internet. Just giving you a heads up."

I think it would hard to know.

He won't likely have a folder marked "nude/embarrassing photos".

More likely he'd have albums of trips & events and within those certain photos would be... risqué.

The girl would go through and copy the ones worth using, or copied them all & gone through them later.

It all depends on what she deems to be a dodgy enough photo to release to be of any public interest.

I'm guessing she has used her big guns and the follow-ups, if there are any, will be more the ilk of guys running around tackling each other in their jocks. Gradually less severe.

No, there's nothing illegal or sinister about them. It's just a couple of mates in the nude taking happy snaps of each others' willies ...

Should I just copy-paste my previous post, or do you want me to write it out again for you?

All valid questions.

For their wives, girlfriends, dads, and mums. No sisters or brothers! They don't get to ask those questions!

It's none of our concern, nor is it the AFL's or St Kilda's.

Although it's the Saints who seem to be her primary target, so she's wanting to damage them the most. And she's quoted as saying the photos are of players doing drugs and pretending to have sex with each other. In other words, the pictures of players from other clubs may be at least as bad, it's just that she's more intent on damaging StK.

I'm assuming that the photos were all together in a very obvious place on his computer because she was able to download & e-mail 20 of them without anybody else knowing (it sounds like she had SG's permission to use his computer). Either that or she had a long enough time at his computer to search through who knows how many happy snaps and select the 20 or so that were going to create the most mayhem. Searching through them in enough detail to recognise faces etc. Either way, serious stupidity on SG's part, yet again.

Or else it's all bluff (but who's going to take that chance?) This may still have a long way to play out, if it indicates a broader problem across several clubs.

To think this is the Captian of the St Kilda Football Club.

I found it interesting when asked if "Saint Nick" was asked if he had spoken to SG and he replied that it was up to SG to approach him. Football clubs are no place of real leadership.

Nick is the captain and so-called leader of the aints. Wouldn't a true leader approach SG and smooth things over rather than let things fester. Just throwing it out there . . .

No need. I would only write the same response to it.

The article is not making a judgment call on homosexuality. It is merely pointing out that there is a seemingly taboo subtext to this whole story that is getting lost in all the hoo-ha about this silly 17yo girl.

And that taboo subtext is worth discussing, however unpalatable it may be to the conservative folk among us.

    REDLEG PRIDE by Meggs

Hump day mid-week footy at the Redlegs home ground is a great opportunity to build on our recent improved competitiveness playing in the red and blue.   The jumper has a few other colours this week with the rainbow Pride flag flying this round to celebrate people from all walks of life coming together, being accepted. AFLW has been a benchmark when it comes to inclusivity and a safe workplace.  The team will run out in a specially designed guernsey for this game and also the following week

    REDEEMING by Meggs

It was such a balmy spring evening for this mid-week BNCA Pink Lady match at our favourite venue Ikon Park between two teams that had not won a game since round one.   After last week’s insipid bombing, the DeeArmy banner correctly deemanded that our players ‘go in hard, go in strong, go in fighting’, and girl they sure did!   The first quarter goals by Alyssa Bannan and Alyssia Pisano were simply stunning, and it was 4 goals to nil by half-time.   Kudos to Mick Stinear.

    REDEEM by Meggs

How will Mick Stinear and his dwindling list of fit and available Demons respond to last week’s 65-point capitulation to the Bombers, the team’s biggest loss in history?   As a minimum he will expect genuine effort from all of his players when Melbourne takes on the GWS Giants at Ikon Park this Thursday.  Happily, the ground remains a favourite Melbourne venue of players and spectators alike and will provide an opportunity for the Demons to redeem themselves. Injuries to star play

    EASYBEATS by Meggs

A beautiful sunny Friday afternoon, with a light breeze and a strong Windy Hill crowd set the scene, inviting one team to seize the day and take the important four points on offer. For the Demons it was not a good Friday, easily beaten by an all-time largest losing margin of 65 points.   Essendon threw themselves into action today, winning most of the contests and had three early goals with Daria Bannister on fire.  In contrast the Demons were dropping marks, hesitant in close and comm

    DEFUSE THE BOMBERS by Meggs

Last Saturday’s crushing loss to Fremantle, after being three goals ahead at three quarter time, should be motivation enough to bounce back for this very winnable Round 5 clash at Windy Hill. A first-time venue for the Melbourne AFLW team, this should be a familiar suburban, windy, footy environment for the players.   Essendon were brave and competitive last week against ladder leader Adelaide at Sturt’s home ground. A familiar name, Maddison Gay, was the Bombers best player with

    BLOW THE SIREN by Meggs

Fremantle hosted the Demons on a sunny 20-degree Saturdayafternoon winning the toss and electing to defend in the first quarter against the 3-goal breeze favouring the Parry Street end. There was method here, as this would give the comeback queens, the Dockers, last use of the breeze. The Melbourne Coach had promised an improved performance, and we did start better than previous weeks, winning the ball out of the middle, using the breeze advantage and connecting to the forwards.

    GETAWAY by Meggs

Calling all fit players. Expect every available Melbourne player to board the Virgin cross-continent flight to Perth for this Round 4 clash on Saturday afternoon at Fremantle Oval. It promises to be keenly contested, though Fremantle is the bookies clear favourite.  If we lose, finals could be remoter than Rottnest Island especially following on from the Dees 50-point dismantlement by North Melbourne last Sunday.  There are 8 remaining matches, over the next 7 weeks.  To Meggs’

    DRUBBING by Meggs

With Casey Fields basking in sunshine, an enthusiastic throng of young Demons fans formed a guard of honour for the evergreen and much admired 75-gamer Paxy Paxman. As the home team ran out to play, Paxy’s banner promised that the Demons would bounce back from last week’s loss to Brisbane and reign supreme.   Disappointingly, the Kangaroos dominated the match to win by 50 points, but our Paxy certainly did her bit.  She was clearly our best player, sweeping well in defence.

    GARNER STRENGTH by Meggs

In keeping with our tough draw theme, Week 3 sees Melbourne take on flag favourites, North Melbourne, at Casey Fields this Sunday at 1:05pm.  The weather forecast looks dry, a coolish 14 degrees and will be characteristically gusty.  Remember when Casey Fields was considered our fortress?  The Demons have lost two of their past three matches at the Field of Dreams, so opposition teams commute down the Princes Highway with more optimism these days.  The Dees held the highe
