Now there *must* be a way I can assign that to the official emoticon list under :roos: or something. Leave it with me.

That makes PJ happy.

Hey Nasher, can we upgrade the mobile platform so you can post emoticons?

Ain't nobody got time for desktop computers *insert roll eye*

Possibly - requires updates from the software developers sadly. A more pressing need is to update it so I can bulk delete posts from it - nothing worse than getting stuck in a car or out and about and seeing about 15 posts I need to delete because BBO, Biffen and friends have found the thread or something, and can't.

To be fair I need to spend less time here, not more

Demonland should have a Candy Crush type timer. 5 posts and you're locked out for an hour.

Trying to work full time is so hard!

SANFL high performance manager and under-18s state coach Brenton Phillipshas joined the guys on Trade Radio.......(today at 1.44pm on AFL Trade Talk)
  1. - On Billy Stretch: "He's the most professional player I've seen at under-18s level". Stretch has followed father Steven's footsteps to the Demons

You have no appreciation of fine literature Gnash!

Correct. A former player told me in China that Greg Healey's son is likely to be the best father/son of all.

I started reading this thread from the first page and was wondering if anyone knows whether this prediction from 2010 about Sugar's son is still valid?

I saw him yesterday and was underwhelmed by his size!

He looked light and was small in comparison to what I had seen of him in play!

Good luck kid!

I'm sure that your opinion of Stretch is of great interest to all supporters.

I just always assumed with a name like "Stretch" he'll always look light for his height.

Ok lets state FACTS 181 cm & 70 kgs

Do the Math (and by the way not only does he look small and light) HE IS!

Costing a third round pick lets see what unfolds!

Good luck Kid!

Ok Ill Bite...... In this day and age of "Big Bodied" players, the task of the little guy is becoming harder and harder.

Billy Stretch with these stats would need to be something special to have an impact. Maybe he has something special which will set him apart and has an impact

And before anyone starts jumping down my throat, No, Not an instant impact!

As a third round pick, Ok lets see how this plays out!

He still looked smaller in life than on the big screen in highlights packages.

And those, Sir, are my points!

Still not sure what point you're trying to make

Gunstan, the Hill brothers, Lewis Taylor, Jake Neade, Jack Martin, Lachie Whitfield, Ballantyne, Zorko, Michael Walters, Kane Turner all seem to be doing okay and I am sure there are many others out there on AFL lists

That photo was taken last week.

  • REPORT: Essendon

What were they thinking? I mean by “they” the coaching panel and team selectors who chose the team to play against an opponent who, like Melbourne, had made a poor start to the season and who they appeared perfectly capable of beating in what was possibly the last chance to turn the season around. It’s no secret that the Demons’ forward line is totally dysfunctional, having opened the season barely able to average sixty points per game which means there has been no semblance of any system from the team going forward into attack. Nevertheless, on Saturday night at the Adelaide Oval in one of the Gather Round showcase games, Melbourne, with Max Gawn dominating the hit outs against a depleted Essendon ruck resulting from Nick Bryan’s early exit, finished just ahead in clearances won and found itself inside the 50 metre arc 51 times to 43. The end result was a final score that had the Bombers winning 15.6 (96) to 8.9 (57). On balance, one could expect this to result in a two or three goal win, but in this case, it translated into a six and a half goal defeat because they only managed to convert eight times or 11.68% of their entries. The Bombers more than doubled that. On Thursday night at the same ground, the losing team Adelaide managed to score 100 points from almost the same number of times inside 50.

  • POSTGAME: Essendon

Despite a spirited third quarter surge, the Demons have slumped to their worst start to a season since 2012, remaining winless and second last on the ladder after a 39-point defeat to Essendon at Adelaide Oval in Gather Round.

  • GAMEDAY: Essendon

It’s Game Day, and the Demons are staring down the barrel of an 0-5 start for the first time since 2012 as they take on Essendon at Adelaide Oval for Gather Round. In that forgettable season, Melbourne finally broke their drought by toppling the Bombers. Can lightning strike twice? Will the Dees turn their nightmare start around and breathe life back into 2025?
