Spewing you took Hartlett E25!

Brilliant. I almost left him til very last because I didn't think he'd draw any interest.

That makes me feel a lot better about the decision.

If I didn't get him I think I'd be in a bit of trouble.

Dammit.

Gwilt would've been handy on my half backline.

Don't worry there is another. I tossed up between the two. Went with the height and younger body. Plus I was impressed with the steps he has taken of late - despite him playing for an opposition club. Very handy in the GF's too; did his job.

Jason Gram is too old and his body is giving up on him.

I did consider him though.

He starred in the GF in 2009.

I thought for a moment you may have meant Blake or McQualter - both good enough role players, and every team needs them, but for this exercise I think you need to aim a bit higher.

I thought for a moment you may have meant Blake or McQualter - both good enough role players, and every team needs them, but for this exercise I think you need to aim a bit higher.

He's 26! He had a horrible year with injuries but surely its a bit premature to right him off as his body giving up on him. He hardly plays a collision game like a CHF, I fully expect him to be back in form this year. He's right up there for one of my next 2 picks. Or am I bluffing :)

Is he only 26? I thought he was 28, with recurring hamstring & groin issues.

Gotta say, I have never been that impressed with him until the 09 GF.

He is highly rated at Moorabbin though.

    With Casey Fields basking in sunshine, an enthusiastic throng of young Demons fans formed a guard of honour for the evergreen and much admired 75-gamer Paxy Paxman. As the home team ran out to play, Paxy’s banner promised that the Demons would bounce back from last week’s loss to Brisbane and reign supreme.   Disappointingly, the Kangaroos dominated the match to win by 50 points, but our Paxy certainly did her bit.  She was clearly our best player, sweeping well in defence.

    HORE ON FIRE by Meggs

    The 40,000 seat $319 million redeveloped Kardinia Park Stadium was nowhere near capacity last night but the strong, noisy contingent of Melbourne supporters led by the DeeArmy journeyed to Geelong to witness a high-quality battle between two of the best teams in AFLW.   The Cats entered the arena to the blasting sounds of Zombie Nation and made a hot start kicking the first 2 goals. They brought tremendous forward half pressure, and our newly renovated defensive unit looked shaky.

    The Mighty Demons take on the confident Cats this Saturday night at the recently completed $319 million redeveloped GMHBA Stadium, with the bounce of the ball at 7:15pm.
