Mark Webber

Absolutely, go Webber... And failing that go Alonso.

Hamilton could turn vettell around on his way to 2nd place behind Webber, leaving Alonso 3rd.

If Red Bull do not help Mark, i wouldn't be suprised to see an australian driving a ferrari next year. Now that is something worth waiting for.

I feel dudded,,, for Mark & for Aus.

I think something was wrong with that car. It & he, were slow for the whole weekend. Abnormally slow for him, with that other team car so brisk... Hmmmn. Red Bull,,, No Bull.

I think if Jack Dyer was around he would be smelling Blue cod!

PS: I totally agree... I was wondering that same thing.

I've never been a Ferrari fan, to me their like Carlton. I love Alonso as a driver, a foil to Schumaker, & before that,,, Alain Prost.

Yes absolutely everything went against Mark last night-it was unbelievable. I thought he should have tyre stopped under safety car.

But that track is just so bad for passing. The "Dirty Air" from the downforce makes it almost impossible. Look at Alonso, 40 laps he was stuck, and he tried everything.

Mark sadly lost it on Saturday. Qualifying 5th just made it too hard 0.6 of a second is a lot in F1.

I would be talking to Ferrari if i was Mark Webber. Red Bull backed Vettell and they got the result in both categories. They can never back Mark now.

Have to agree 100% with your comments.

Webber doesnt seem to be getting total support from Red Bull

Vettell is their man, I guess you can justify that, because he is a lot younger

Just disappointing for Webber he couldnt do better in qualifying.

Having said all that, finishing 3rd is still a very fair effort.

If he thinks he is getting a raw deal driving for Red Bull

he will have to weigh up his options.

If he does get an offer from another team, he still has to compete against Vettell

He may be worse off.

Be interesting too see how it pans out.

Nah, he will be fine if he can score a number one drive. Red Bull are a good team, but Webber will always be number 2 after last weekend unless Vettell completely blows it.

There is strong Talk that Massa has had enough, so if that is the case i would love to see Mark take his place in 2011

webber would be crazy to leave red bull. and leave a good car which won the constructors.

But he will never be given a number one car at Red Bull, not while Vettell is there.

If he wants another crack at a championship he must walk IMO. If he is happy to assist Vettell win more Championships then stay, at least he knows exactly where he stands.

I agree, that every thing was against Mark in this race but also I think the last race as well. I think from memory he struggled a little in quals, for maybe the last 2 races. Engines are getting worn from the long season.

How do we know he was getting an Equal share of whats left of the good Bits? I don't think he has.

Red Bull are determined to build a Marquee BRAND,,, & need a Young, Marquee Star,,, to better McLarens,, Hamilton... Who is english & dark. and red Bull is backed by a big german.

I'd like Mark to leave Red Bull, as they've shown how they intend to proceed.

So, he could maybe go to Ferrari,,,, or to drive with Schumaker. It looks like Ferrari & McLaren, & Renault will be strong again, coming on. It may be a good time to move on.

If i was Mark i would walk right now, with no hard feelings. I don't think he wants to be number 2. Shall be an interesting summer.

Wish it was this year...it's obvious Mark will be used as a Red Bull Shield for the Golden Boy....let's hope Mark can win in Melbourne at least.

Go to Ferrari Mark, maybe they can show you some respect.

Red Bull didn't like mark almost Upsetting their plans developing the young Vettell into a star.... Webberr almost dashed them..>

Takeing No chances this Year, their going to scuttle his season early,,, so he can't catch up to the Young upstart. But will be there if the Kid gets injured. Webber will get the good bits if Vettell has an accident and is hurt.

Mark Webber take a bow !

Drive of the weekend. 18th at the start and just drove through e veryone to get to the Podium.

No thanks to his team. When will he get the good car, with the good bits.

Oh, thats right, Red Bull is sold mostly to younger buyers. Mark your too old for Red Bull. Now, who are the more mature buyers in F1? Hmmn, probably the ones who buy Ferrari's.. Maybe that would be a better fit, Mark eting wise.

What are you waiting for Webber?

What a drive from Mark.....18th off the grid to the Podium...and people still bag him.

You are a champ Mark Webber to do that without KERS. WOW. B)

Red Bull are deliberately sandbagging him to Vettells advantage. you watch when vettells well clear of Mark, Marks car will become reliable and fast for the one/twos.

Vettell is their marketing 'child'.

Mark has no real future there.

Ferrari should shed Massa and put Webber with Alonso.

That said, Webber would never approve of being the number 2 to Fernando.

OVER YET? by KC from Casey

The Friday evening rush hour clash of two of the VFL’s 2024 minnows, Carlton and the Casey Demons was excruciatingly painful to watch, even if it was for the most part a close encounter. I suppose that since the game had to produce a result (a tie would have done the game some justice), the four points that went to Casey with the win, were fully justified because they went to the best team. In that respect, my opinion is based on the fact that the Blues were a lopsided combination that had

Our game is one where the result is often decided by centimetres; the touch of a fingernail, a split-second decision made by a player or official, the angle of vision or the random movement of an oblong ball in flight or in its bounce and trajectory. There is one habit that Melbourne seems to have developed of late in its games against Carlton which is that the Demons keep finding themselves on the wrong end of the stick in terms of the fine line in close games at times when centimetres mak

    MELBOURNE BUSINESS by The Oracle

In days of old, this week’s Thursday night AFL match up between the Demons and the Blues would be framed on the basis of the need to redress the fact that Carlton “stole” last year’s semi final away from Melbourne and with it, their hopes for the premiership.  A hot gospelling coach might point out to his charges that they were the better team on the night in all facets and that poor kicking for goal and a couple of lapses at the death cost them what was rightfully theirs. Moreover, now was

The Casey Demons have been left languishing near the bottom of the VFL table after suffering a 32-point defeat at the hands of stand alone club Williamstown at Casey Fields on Sunday. The Demons suffered a major setback before the game even started when AFL listed players Ben Brown, Marty Hore and Josh Schache were withdrawn from the selected side. Only Schache was confirmed as an injury replacement, the other two held over as possible injury replacements for Melbourne’s Thursday night fixt
