As for Goff and the intercepts, when interviewed today he put the picks down to bad luck!! Haha

Wasn't just the picks. Missed targets,  ground balls.  He couldn't hit a cow's @r$e with a banjo.

Came good when it mattered though

They are a team that likes taking risks and are good to watch ... led by their coach, Dan Campbell with his attacking nature

It might just be their year ... right now, they are the best team in the NFC

Of course, KC are still undefeated in the AFC

The first couple were deflected were they not? And the Hail Mary at the end of the first half doesn't really matter.

I thought he was sort of saying it doesn't matter in terms of his mind set going forward to the next plays, but I could have interpreted that wrong.

Once the line got more solid he got better, was always my biggest gripe with Goff as a Ram was he would poop himself and become flustered bad, now I dont think he is as bad as that.

DaFaq was Dan thinking going for it instead of kicking the field goal???

And the Eagles kicker will 100% be gone. even when he hit the FG/PAT he nearly missed.

Crazy, everything fell apart for the Commies after they went for the 4&2 at the 30 down 12-10 - if they kick the FG they go ahead instead Philly goes down the field and gets a TD, Daniels turns it over straight after and then Barkley scores another TD. Instead of up 13-12 with 8 minutes left all of a sudden they're down 26-10 with 4.5 minutes left 😵

Yeah was insane. I mean they tried to get 1 yrs the previous two downs and failed. Take the points, take the lead, put the pressure on Philly.

Falcons, Chiefs, Texans

Insane, just insane. Bears rally to setup a 48ish yard FG attempt for Santos and the Packers block it to hold on and win!

49ers should have put that game away but Geno Smith gets it done with that final run

To make the playoffs, any of the 4 NFC West teams is probably going to have to win that division ... a wild-card spot is a stretch

I think Cards will win the div. rest of us are not at their level at the min.

WR Cooper Kupp (@CooperKupp) became the first player in NFL history to record 600+ receptions, 7,500+ receiving yards and 50+ touchdown receptions in a player's first 100 career games.

This surprises me. I would have expected another to have this sort of record.

I'd say so.

Too many bloopies from us. This game was a carbon copy of the Rams and Cards.

I kid myself that the Niners can go on a run but not all is well enough there right now. Play calling stinks, who are we fooling with hot routes on 3rd and 11? Fred Warner said after the game that we were in man coverage on that last play and didn't account for Geno so the DC is getting thrown under the bus as well.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.

  • CASEY: Williamstown

The Casey Demons issued a strong statement to the remaining teams in the VFL race with a thumping 76-point victory in their Elimination Final against Williamstown. This was the sixth consecutive win for the Demons, who stormed into the finals from a long way back with scalps including two of the teams still in flag contention. Senior Coach Taylor Whitford would have been delighted with the manner in which his team opened its finals campaign with high impact after securing the lead early in the game when Jai Culley delivered a precise pass to a lead from Noah Yze, who scored his first of seven straight goals for the day. Yze kicked his second on the quarter time siren, by which time the Demons were already in control. The youngster repeated the dose in the second term as the Seagulls were reduced to mere

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Collingwood

Narrm time isn’t a standard concept—it’s the time within the traditional lands of Narrm, the Woiwurrung name for Melbourne. Indigenous Round runs for rounds 3 and 4 and is a powerful platform to recognise the contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in sport, community, and Australian culture. This week, suburban footy returns to the infamous Victoria Park as the mighty Narrm take on the Collingwood Magpies at 1:05pm Narrm time, Sunday 31 August. Come along if you can.

  • AFLW REPORT: St. Kilda

The Dees demolished the Saints in a comprehensive 74-pointshellacking.  We filled our boots with percentage — now a whopping 520.7% — and sit atop the AFLW ladder. Melbourne’s game plan is on fire, and the competition is officially on notice.

  • REPORT: Collingwood

It was yet another disappointing outcome in a disappointing year, with Melbourne missing the finals for the second consecutive season. Indeed, it wasn’t even close, as the Demons' tally of seven wins was less than half the number required to rank among the top eight teams in the competition. When the dust of the game settled and supporters reflected on Melbourne's  six-point defeat at the hands of close game specialists Collingwood, Max Gawn's words about his team’s unfulfilled potential rang true … well, almost.
