Iโ€™ve enjoyed it a lot, due to covid etc itโ€™s certainly different and then flipping between the two squads means you get less fill.ย

Yeah sound worthwhile cheers! I would have liked one solely on the Rams this year I just think that would be an interesting training camp to be around at the moment and how they are looking to rebound.ย

Watching McVay is awesome, he is such a personality, he is always on.

Tipping comp again?ย  We get 5 or 6 starters it's a goer

Reigning champ is JV7 whilst other winners include Gorgoroth (twice),ย  Dappa Dan,ย  DeeSpencer,ย  Clintosaurus,ย  Cowboy_from_Hell & Strafford.

From 3 picks tip 3 road winners in any given week is the task at hand (for those new to this thread)ย

Various points* are on offer as we work our way through the season in order to find an overall winner.ย  It's a breeze (apparently!)

Well we've certainly got enough starters for the tipping comp but a shout out to @Dappa Danย  @Go the Biffย  @titan_uranusย  @Dr. Gonzo or anyone else who wants to join in the fun & frivolity.

3 only picks per week but all have to be road winners ... it's that simple.ย  Various points are awarded to those who get 'em right.ย

Anyway,ย  here's a couple of previews for week 1 as well as the game listings again. (n.b. you'll have to click on the youtube link to view the NFL Network clips)

Yep I'll give this a go - every year I try to do this but forget to enter my tips and disappear halfway through the season. I'll try harder this year!

I'll go Seahawks, Eagles and Colts.

Division Winners
AFC
North - Pittsburg
East - New England
South - Colts
West - Chiefs
WC - Ravens, Bills, Broncos

NFC
North - Lions
East - Cowboys
South - Tompa Bay
Westย  - SeaHawks
WC - Niners, Packers, Saints
ย

Philly, Vegas, Colts

My Div winners

AFC East - Pats

AFC North - Ravens

AFC South - Titans

AFC West - Chiefs

NFC East - Cowboys

NFC North - Vikings

NFC South - Bucs

NFC West - Seahawks

ย

With 14 teams now making the playoffs the 1 seed from each conference are the only 2 teams to get a bye I believe

2 v 7,ย  3 v 6 & 4 v5 is the playoff pattern in each conference but I stand corrected on that. To be honest,ย  I'm tuning in late to proceedings so trying to catch up.ย  6 playoff games in week 1 of the post-season could get a bit hectic in terms of trying to watch all the games.

AFC East - Pats

AFC North - Ravens

AFC South - Colts

AFC West - KC

Wildcards - Bills,ย  Steelers,ย  Titans

NFC East - Dallas

NFC North - Packers

NFC South - Saints

NFC West - 49ers

Wildcards - Eagles,ย  Vikings,ย  Seahawks

n.b.ย  7Mate are covering the Pats/Miami match (Early) and the 49ers/Arizona game (Late)ย  No SNF or MNF though and that might be the ongoing schedule (just the 2 televised games every week)

ย

Minshew is the man!!!! Was not expecting to win today. 1-15 is thw worst outcome now.

Wow nice way to wreck a morning! Got sliced by Deandre Hopkins all morning and when Kittle got hurt did nothing after. My expectations are tempered this year though, I think it's going to be real tough to win the division and can even see us finishing 4th with a winning record.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecastโ€”20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze โ€” expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kateโ€™s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwoodโ€™s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.

  • CASEY: Williamstown

The Casey Demons issued a strong statement to the remaining teams in the VFL race with a thumping 76-point victory in their Elimination Final against Williamstown. This was the sixth consecutive win for the Demons, who stormed into the finals from a long way back with scalps including two of the teams still in flag contention. Senior Coach Taylor Whitford would have been delighted with the manner in which his team opened its finals campaign with high impact after securing the lead early in the game when Jai Culley delivered a precise pass to a lead from Noah Yze, who scored his first of seven straight goals for the day. Yze kicked his second on the quarter time siren, by which time the Demons were already in control. The youngster repeated the dose in the second term as the Seagulls were reduced to mere

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Collingwood

Narrm time isnโ€™t a standard conceptโ€”itโ€™s the time within the traditional lands of Narrm, the Woiwurrung name for Melbourne. Indigenous Round runs for rounds 3 and 4 and is a powerful platform to recognise the contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in sport, community, and Australian culture. This week, suburban footy returns to the infamous Victoria Park as the mighty Narrm take on the Collingwood Magpies at 1:05pm Narrm time, Sunday 31 August. Come along if you can.

  • AFLW REPORT: St. Kilda

The Dees demolished the Saints in a comprehensive 74-pointshellacking. ย We filled our boots with percentage โ€” now a whopping 520.7% โ€” and sit atop the AFLW ladder. Melbourneโ€™s game plan is on fire, and the competition is officially on notice.

  • REPORT: Collingwood

It was yet another disappointing outcome in a disappointing year, with Melbourne missing the finals for the second consecutive season. Indeed, it wasnโ€™t even close, as the Demons' tally of seven wins was less than half the number required to rank among the top eight teams in the competition. When the dust of the game settled and supporters reflected on Melbourne's ย six-point defeat at the hands of close game specialists Collingwood, Max Gawn's words about his teamโ€™s unfulfilled potential rang true โ€ฆ well, almost.ย
