Kelvin Moore's Comments

Was just reading the comments made by Kelvin Moore on the AFL website, I actually found them a bit disrespectful to us. Basically said they were running at 60% and it was more their turnovers rather than our good play as to why we won the game. I felt we moved the ball alot better than they did and put them under pressure to cause the turnovers!

I think he needs to look at the game again!

Meh. Who cares what the losers have to say? Winners write the history books.

I am curious to know which forward this uber talented [censored] played on.

Funny, I thought they were playing out of their skins in the first half and we were playing a shocker. If we hadn't been turning the ball over all the time it would have been another game like the Sydney one.

x2

Demonstrates when Moore is Less !!!!!!

To be fair they were probably running at 80% because of their foot skills. But then so were we.

Very interesting considering I thought that it was us playing well below par with patches of brilliance. Against any other side we would have been murdered for the amount of fumbles that we have.

History shows that richmond dont have more than 80 per cent! Someone should really show them the list of outs we had yesterday. Richmond have one of the worst lists in the afl

Fair point.

I went with some Richmond friends who were rightly frustrated that they went inside 50 so often and so poorly with so little result. They burnt alot of energy in the first 3 quarters without showing it on the scoreboard and tired in the end.

It's a trend. We're hard to score against once it gets in there. Collingwood, Freo and Richmond all spent a long time inside fifty against us and had difficulty getting a goal.

Some footballers like to convince themselves that everything is within thier control.

Moore is just doing what he needs to do. They got beaten and everyone is talking up the youth of the Dees, and Richmond obviously thought they were a big chance to beat us. When we leant on them in the last quarter we got away from them, but he's saying what he wants to hear and what his supporters want to hear.

He knows that we are a rising force so he wants to piggyback with us.

I don't see it as disrespectful, but rather I see it as a sign of great respect that he is hoping that they can be seen in the same light as we are.

Of course we know that we have more talent than Richmond, but that's beside the point.

What a dud. Guess he was frustrated Dunn kicked his PB on him.

Dunn was on Deledio.

He's a young man with no media experience.

No respect.

Laughable... just like his team.

If Jurrah kicked those three relative shots on goal, game over far earlier in the third quarter and probably a 50 point win. Not bad when we played so badly in the first half

All just fuel for next time we play them - bring it on. Can we play these blokes every week?

Kelvin Moore can say what he likes. His team lost, ours won. Sour grapes. All i know is, particularly in the first half, we would have been lucky to be playing at 40%. If you look at Richmond's recent wins, all teams they played have lost the match, Richmond haven't won it. Sydney lost it and Adelaide lost through their own simple turnovers and inaccurate kicking.

Let Kelvin keep living in dream land. As for me, i'll take the 4 points thanks.

Strongly agree- furthermore Moore was hoping to play with us, he trained with us before being picked up by Richmond on ther rookie list, I think. SOUR GRAPES-I say.

Their forward entires looked poor mainly because Chip was all over Reiwoldt like a fat kid on a waffle. Their delivery managed to catch Garland and Rivers at times, but they just went to Reiwoldt too often, even when it became clear he was being beaten.

I think they were travelling at about 90% of their maximum capacity at this point in their development, whereas up until the last quarter we were at about 60%, probably less in terms of disposal. But when we had the ball, it was clear that we were far superior in our class and ability to transition the ball from half back to half forward.

Had Jurrah and Green not missed fairly gettable shots on goal, we would have won by 8 goals.

Much like their fellow later day converts to a full rebuild the Kangas really..they want to share the love we are getting....
