"Rohan Bail: Rohan was very good again. He basically carried on from last week. His work rate was high, along with his clean hands, ability to run the lines - he used the ball well, and kicked a couple of goals, which was good. One he got from half-back, which was fantastic, and another from the wing. So we were really pleased about that. He was just up and about - his attack on the footy was good, and he did a couple of fantastic, courageous things. He’s had that cheekbone [injury], but he went back, and got cleaned up, and was not even thinking - he was just so courageous. He’s in really good nick."

Was in great form in the seniors before his injury. Has had 2 very good weeks at Casey now, must be given the call up. For me. OUT: Bartram IN: Bail

I think we could really add to our run and clean use with this guy back in the side. I hope he is not being looked at by te GC and begins to feel his opportunities are limited at Melbourne. Get him in there!

Hes had a bit of an interupted time at Melbourne whilst all the while showing more than a bit. Timing could be perfect to come in and get a few games in as the season winds up. I like his style , poise and calm. Good decision making, a good deliverer of the ball. would seem a monty to come in this this and good on him.

Hes a bit deceptive...quite solid while not looking like hulk. Keeps his footing and knows where the goals are when in the vicinity. A good offensive defender as well as a defending forward. Id really like to see him finish out this year in red and blue.

Good player IMO. I initially thought he was a late draft pick who might be a 'bit part' player at best. But his few games earlier this year stamped him as a potential late pick 'gem' in my eyes. He seems to read the play well, run all day and bring others into the play with his courage and good ball use. It's a pity he has had an injury interrupted start to his AFL career. Let's hope he's run out of bad luck, and can get some continuity going forward.

Have to say, Bail looks to be another feather in the cap of the recruiting staff. I don't know how they managed to spot an overage player from the Queensland league, but he may turn out to be the bargain of that entire draft.

Love me a bit of Bail. He deserves more attention than he gets. He may not have Trengove's boot, Trengove's hands or... well... Trengove's Trengoveness... But he brings a lot to the table. Premierships squads aren't just made up of 22 good players. You need good second tier guys who don't have the profile of a Jack Watts, but that still do their job, and keep the classy big-money midfielders honest.

He's in for mine. I would probably bring in Warnock too. Not sure who to drop though.

We should also remember than Subiaco is a big ground where you need plenty of run so it is hard to see

it astonishes me how people on this site are always calling for bartrams head n want him dropped every week....umm helllllo he has had a cracking year....tags a small forward every week n his rarely been beaten this year....he is the perfect match up for ballantyne this week...get real people!

To answer the question as to who goes out, it will either by Kyle Cheney or Joel Macdonald for mine. I don't think either of them particularly 'deserve' to be dropped per se, but that's just life when you're a fringe footballer. When someone better is returning, you make way.

I agree that Bail is a must this week.

Bartram is underrated I think. He is doing a fantastic job on the small forwards of each opposition team and really shutting them out of the match. Did anyone realise that Alvyn Davey was playing last weekend???

Bail is an IMMEDIATE inclusion for sure. I'm struggling who will make way for him though. Cheney could be unlucky as I believe he should be given a whole heap of games to string together. He's a hard 'nuggety' player that doesn't concede many goals. Could be the unlucky one though...

I did. Saw the number 29 a few times. Mind you he only had 11 touches...

I know he's a tagging defender, which he does fairly well, but his disposal isn't good enough. He's had his turn. This was posted somewhere else, but maybe bring in Addam Maric as a back pocket for the last few games, seeing as Jetta and Wonaeamirri are obviously ahead of him as small forwards. He might be that Matthew Whelan type player we need - although not as good of course, because Wheels was awesome.

So maybe for now:

IN: Bail

OUT: Bartram

And bring in Maric to fill Bartram's role later?

Although I doubt that will happen, DB will play Bartram to shut down Ballantyne - although he never does much anyway.

Bail should come in on the wide expanses of Suby after 2 games back from injury for Casey.

Appeals as a natural wingman for mine. Runs the lines well and seems to have a knack of finding space in dangerous positions.

Joel McDonald can make way.

Going by the VFL review it seems Bail played a bit off half back, they might look to play him off half back at Subi. Could mean that it will be one of Cheney or MacDonald. Bartram hasn't done anything wrong. Could even be Johnson to add more run & Freo have part timers as back up to Sandilands.

He does seem a likely type Bail and a bit like Jordie McKenzie slotted straight in & made an impact. Looking forward to seeing him back, he is a certain inclusion.
