Again, Dunn will be protected by the statistics, which lie. Yes, he took marks, got 20 odd disposals and had numerous inside 50s. But he made countless basic errors, some of those inside 50s were useless and gave us no advantage at all, and his influence wasn't that great.

And Judd only had 68% efficiency yesterday. The Cartel should drop him immediately.

You guys need to get real. You don't know what Dunn's role was. What the Coach told him to do and more importantly whether he did it.

And another poster suggesting we drop Bartram is mindless. Blitzed Harvey yesterday.

Though the word around the street is that Bail will probably not be available.

I rode past junction oval on the way to work this morning and Bail had his thigh strapped in a compression bandage. Might not mean anything, but if he was ready to go I doubt he would still have it on

Agreed, apart from Harvey's run-around-the mark Clint did a great job on a form player. Clint's looking much sharper this year.

I thought Bartram did a great job on Saturday. Harvey generally picks up around 30, came out with less than half, and little impact on the game.

And Harvey's goal was offset by Bartrams!

If McKenzie is fit he should come back in for Rivers who could probably do with a couple more games under his belt at Casey, and beyond that we really only need to look at replacing Petterd (why not field a team resembling that which we fielded against the Lions?)... I would be happy to see Watts come in as a fast leading forward option (but not on a wing) and failing that, Johnson so we have some height up forward with the added advantage that for such a big man he is good below his knees; also gives us a reasonable second ruck option allowing Martin (if he stays) to stick around up forward.

I'm as far from a Bartram fan as you can get.

But he has been excellent, solid as a rock, little to no bad mistakes at all. Strong tackling and good overhead.

Could be another player Bailey makes something out of.

Johnson not worth a punt? Martin was no good yesterday both forward and in the ruck. Johnson has been in the best for Casey for a few weeks in a row now. With him in the ruck Jamar can start forward. I think Cheney needs to come also in to give the backline some balance. I thought Frawley, MacDonald and Rivers were all ordinary yesterday, MacDonald to miss for mine.

Bail (run) and McKenzie (tackling) are required if fit.

How many chances does a man need at AFL level before it becomes clear to all that he isn't good enough? Newton, Bell and Miller should be 3 clear examples.

I don't read the efficiency statistic. It's bogus. And that example of Judd says it all, as he was BOG according to the papers.

Dunn turns the ball over. In zero-pressure situations. He has no clue what to do when we don't have the ball aside from games where he's tagging.

Saying I don't know what the FD's role for him was isn't an excuse. Neither do you. If we are all precluded from commenting on stuff we don't have the inside knowledge on then this forum would shut down due to lack of activity. Dunn adds little to this team and he is really just warming the seat for some of the more talented players on our list who are injured or coming back from injury.

You're right about Bartram though. He showed Dunn how to tag Brent Harvey. Keeps his spot based on that alone.
