Lewis brilliant rant about Lance on the Daily Show tonight....

Yeah , posted that clip and then lo and behold Lewis is on the Daily Show (which I just watched and is a must view)

You may have caught hold of 'Real Time with Bill Maher' . If not , it's definately worth a look - on once a week (Friday in the States) Topical, and like the Daily Show , has a strong political slant and can be very funny .

Speaking of losing it, how about this from Fast Forward.

Well worth a bump and here's another Seinfeld bit ...

Bruno Mars doing some impersonations . You'll possibly have to full screen it for the full effect . This bit is put together from a Saturday Night Live episode of a few weeks ago ...

Ha, nice one. I only know him from Parks & Recreation (great show BTW).

It always surprises me to see some actors doing other things. Donald Glover from Community (another good show) is another in a similar situation.

Absolutely love Donald Glover and Community for that matter. The new season is losing its touch a little but still great.

Very strong British theme here, which I appreciate. Love a little Black Books, Fawlty Towers, Keeping Up Appearances and The Young Ones.

Seinfeld is still probably my favourite comedy though. So clever in every way.

I'd recommend trying Curb Your Enthusiasm, created by and starring Seinfeld co-creator Larry David.

I think Curb Your Enthusiasm retains the Seinfeld feel, but the humour is more current.

I'd say Seinfeld is a better show, but I'd probably choose to watch Curb Your Enthusiasm over Seinfeld these days.

Curb Your Enthusiasm is the greatest comedy series that i have ever seen.I just love the way Larry David ignores all the social norms! The interaction and interplay with the characters around him like Jeff and Richard Lewis who would be his closest friends is brilliant.I also like how Larry is more suspicious and wary of Marty Funkhouser and Ted Danson who would be more acquaintances than friends. Those two would be bordering on being enemies of Larry though as opposed to being friends! It's a better comedy than Seinfeld imo.

    REDLEG PRIDE by Meggs

Hump day mid-week footy at the Redlegs home ground is a great opportunity to build on our recent improved competitiveness playing in the red and blue.   The jumper has a few other colours this week with the rainbow Pride flag flying this round to celebrate people from all walks of life coming together, being accepted. AFLW has been a benchmark when it comes to inclusivity and a safe workplace.  The team will run out in a specially designed guernsey for this game and also the following week

    REDEEMING by Meggs

It was such a balmy spring evening for this mid-week BNCA Pink Lady match at our favourite venue Ikon Park between two teams that had not won a game since round one.   After last week’s insipid bombing, the DeeArmy banner correctly deemanded that our players ‘go in hard, go in strong, go in fighting’, and girl they sure did!   The first quarter goals by Alyssa Bannan and Alyssia Pisano were simply stunning, and it was 4 goals to nil by half-time.   Kudos to Mick Stinear.

    REDEEM by Meggs

How will Mick Stinear and his dwindling list of fit and available Demons respond to last week’s 65-point capitulation to the Bombers, the team’s biggest loss in history?   As a minimum he will expect genuine effort from all of his players when Melbourne takes on the GWS Giants at Ikon Park this Thursday.  Happily, the ground remains a favourite Melbourne venue of players and spectators alike and will provide an opportunity for the Demons to redeem themselves. Injuries to star play

    EASYBEATS by Meggs

A beautiful sunny Friday afternoon, with a light breeze and a strong Windy Hill crowd set the scene, inviting one team to seize the day and take the important four points on offer. For the Demons it was not a good Friday, easily beaten by an all-time largest losing margin of 65 points.   Essendon threw themselves into action today, winning most of the contests and had three early goals with Daria Bannister on fire.  In contrast the Demons were dropping marks, hesitant in close and comm
