Dean Bailey just might put some discipline into Haselby, along with Scott West. Long Bow but he can play when he wants to

Worth consideration if the PSD Trough is thin.

I agree he'd well and truely be worth a look. I know he's 28 but he'd help us start our climb up the ladder next year, possibly to as high as 10th! He'd also help take some of the pressure off Scully and Trengove.

Exactly, the way Ben Cousins is playing in the middle at Richmond. A senior Mentor in the heat of battle, even if its only for 12 months.

Young Kids can never learn to much.

We don't see too much of haselby over here, but i have seen a couple of crackers when he is "on."

12 Month incentive contract MAX.

While I agree he is a bit one paced I would have thought his skills were as good as any of our other midfielders. Apart from Davey & Grimes of course. With McDonald possibly hanging up the boots at seasons end he could be the ideal replacement.

Worth consideration only, if it's thin. At his age I'm not sure it'd really be helping the squad the way people think. Looking at the Martin/Jurrah selections which have worked well, I'm all for another 20ish tall that has shown something since being turned down a couple of times from the draft. 3 times a charm, right?

Hasleby would offer more in the way of winning a couple of games than he would in terms of assisting the kids.

I know what you are saying, & i half Agree BUT, there have been a number of Derby's i watched when the shockers actually wanted to play hard. Haselby was the General in the middle a few times.

Bailey might sort him out..worth consideration is all i suggest.

Playing for Fremantle is not good for your long term career. I feel sorry for those kids, i really do.

Still trying to give this one some legs.........

I'd take Dangerfield and Adelaide's first pick (11?) for pick 2 (gives them Trengrove) which still leaves us with a tall forward option with our second pick.

I reckon deals like this might just happen this year, clubs know this is it for a while.

The Final Few hours of Trade Week are going to be MAD!

The opposite of Last Year.

went to school with paul and he's a top bloke who works really hard. he's struggled with injuries and itd be a gamble but if he stays fit and on the park he could be worth a look. i'd rather hang onto a robbo or mcdonald or even one of boys like miller or johnson than clear a spot for him. he's seems to play well when freo are up and about but goes missing when they're having a shocker. i'm sure there will be better in the psd though.

    DELUGE by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons overcame their inaccuracy and the wet inhospitable conditions to overrun the lowly Northern Bullants at Genis Steel Oval in Cramer Street, Preston on Saturday. It was an eerie feeling entering the ground that in the past hosted many VFA/VFL greats of the past including the legendary Roy Cazaly. The cold and drizzly rain and the sparse crowd were enough to make one want to escape to the nearby Preston Market and hang out there for the afternoon. In the event, the fans

    INSANITY by Whispering Jack

Somehow, the Melbourne Football Club managed it twice in the course of a week. Coach Simon Goodwin admitted it in his press conference after the loss against the Brisbane Lions in a game where his team held a four goal lead in the third term:   "In reality we went a bit safe. Big occasion, a lot of young players playing. We probably just went into our shell a bit. "There's a bit to unpack in that last quarter … whether we go into our shells a bit late in the game."   Well

    UNBACKABLE by The Oracle

They’re billing the Brisbane Lions as a sleeping giant — the best team outside the top eight —and based on their form this month they’re a definite contender for September AFL action. Which is not exactly the best of news if you happen to be Melbourne, the visiting team this week up at the Gabba.  Even though they are placed ahead of their opponent on the AFL table, and they managed to stave off defeat in their last round victory over North Melbourne, this week’s visitors to the Sunshi

    WILDCARDS by KC from Casey

Casey’s season continued to drift into helplessness on Sunday when they lost another home game by a narrow margin, this time six points, in their Round 13 clash with North Melbourne’s VFL combination. The game was in stunning contrast to their last meeting at the same venue when Casey won the VFL Wildcard Match by 101 points. Back then, their standout players were Brodie Grundy and James Jordon who are starring in the AFL with ladder leaders, the Sydney Swans (it turned out to be their last
