If we only can win one more game this year, who do you want to beat?

For my it has to be the cartel. How i would love to cost them a place in the finals and still wave picks one and two in there face

Don't care who it is. I just want this season over, with Draft Picks Thankyou.

Doesn't matter...

But if I could dream, our 4th win of the year would be a round 22 victory over St Kilda against all odds. And after losing to Richmond, Nth, Freo and Carlton in the lead-up, i'll have the fortunate foresight to put $1000 on the Dee's at the very healthy odds of $15 to beat the Saints, who'd be 21-0 at that stage.. Not gonna happen :(

Most likely to beat Freo, but to be honest i really couldn't care less, as long as it's not 5 wins...

I would gladly lose the Freo game if it means we beat Rapetank and destroy their finals hopes.

It's tipped as being Fremantle, however I would hope for all our sake that it would be round 22 against the Saints so we can feel relief before a game and play to win knowing we have secured two early picks.

Agreed...

A draw in each of the final two rounds.

But seriously, it's gotta be the Saints. I can't wait until this season is over to barrack for my team again, but I'd love it if we were on 3 wins and were actually able to have a sneak preview of what it's like to barrack for your team again, if only for one week. Plus, it's one thing to snatch one by a couple of goals against a club who has nothing to play for. It's another entirely to ruin the Saints perfect season, and beat the best team in the league to make people raise their eyebrows.

And as a side note, in that scenario if Freo beat us and no-one else, they'll be on 4 wins too. Which would mean that we might be fighting our way off the bottom of the ladder if our percentage was good enough. 15th, no wooden spoon and picks 1 and 3. Scully and Trengrove with a WC midfielder staying at home to play for Freo.

I would like to beat Carlton - but if we win another game it will most likely be Freo

Much as I'd like to thrash Carlton, I think I'd prefer to not win any of the remaining games and get the best possible picks. It would ensure us bottom spot, putting us ahead of Freo and should WC somehow slip up and win another one it would guarantee us the top two picks. Winning is simply not worth it at this point.

That's the first time i have seen that written in all these last few weeks.

Would really stuff up Worsfolds plans if we got home winless from here.

Good post. Bigus

Has to be North hands down.

We've been their [censored] for years, and we need to learn how to win at Etihad if we're going to rise up the ladder.

Freo would be the least exciting and satisfying win.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
