In - Maric, Sylvia

Out - Briuce, Bennell

B - Rivers Warnock Bartram

HB - Garland Frawley Green

C - Davey McLean Buckley

HF - Morton Miller Maric

F - Petterd Sylvia Johnson

R - Spencer Moloney Jones

IC - McDonald Bate Cheney Jetta

Bennell had a taste, and I think you will now see him go back to Casey to develop.

Bruce was just shocking again and is long overdue for a run in the seconds, nothing more needs to be said.

Sylvia and Maric in. Two great inclusions to spark us up forward and add some much needed polish.

obviously no one will agree with bruce, but i would love to see maric and wonna in...how we fit both in though might be tricky??

it could also be good to give bennell a go at casey so he can gain some confidence, but then again, another game at AFL level shouldnt hurt. he didnt look too lost out there today or anything...

intrested to know about wheatley, whelan, bell, sylvia and grimes (and their likelihood of playing)

Wonna wont be ready, wish he was though.

Just wondering why you think people don't agree on dropping Bruce? You seen him play lately?

In - Sylvia

Out - Bartram

Backs: J.Frawley, M.Warnock, C.Garland

Half backs: J.Bennell, J.Rivers, K.Cheney

Centres: B.Moloney, B.McLean, C.Morton

Half forwards: M.Bate, B.Miller, A.Davey

Forwards: B.Green, C.Sylvia, R.Petterd

Followers: P.Johnson, N.Jones, J.McDonald

Interchange: C.Bruce, S.Buckley, N.Jetta, J.Spencer

I'm not a Bartram fan. I know he did an ok job on Harvey but he butchers the ball too much. Turnovers killed us last year and that trend looks set to continue unless we get our better ball users (including Sylvia) back into the side. An improved side should not have space for an honest trier like Bartram who will never be good enough IMO.

Sylvia didn't do anywhere near enough to earn a spot back yet. & i'm a supporter of his..

Bring him back now & we'll just set him back. He needs Now to be made to fight his way back through hard team work, don't rush it.

Sylvia needs to play. He's the only player in our team with the abillity to kick multiple goals

Out - Jetta, Bennell

These players should play 10 games this season, but really should be playing at Casey to develop any deficiencies in their game and play 100% game time.

Especially Bennel. He looks promising, but clearly hasn't got a perfect game. He won't improve those deficiencies playing 40 mins in the seniors getting 10 possies. He needs 100% game time at Casey.

Considering how poor our forward line looks, Sylvia and Maric are two important additions that makes us much more dangerous

Worst on ground easily for me, then Miller.

Frawley was very good.

Raffle worst on ground between Bate, Bruce, Miller and Johnson.

OUT: Frawley

Frawley? I thought he was very impressive. Probably his career-best game to date.

For mine:

IN: Martin, Sylvia

OUT: Bennell, Bartram/Buckley

Would love to see Maric come in, but he sat out all of the last qtr for the Scorps and probably isn't ready for 4 qtrs at AFL level yet. I feel they'll give him another run there before coming back to the big time.

I'd probably drop Miller after his performance today, but doubt he will get the chop. Same goes for Bate and Davey. Unfortunately we don't have the depth or quality to cover these players on our list. But i think one of Bartram, Buckley or possibly even Morton may be unlucky next week.

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,

    GALLANT by KC from Casey

The world “gallant” is not one that is readily acceptable to losing teams in our game of football so when it was used in the context of the Casey Demons’ loss to Sandringham in yesterday’s match at Casey Fields, it left a bitter taste in the mouth.  The Demons went into the game against the St Kilda affiliated Zebras with the advantage of playing on their home turf (not that this has been a major asset in 2024) and with very little else going in their favour. The Saints have close to a full

    MEANWHILE by Whispering Jack

… meanwhile, at about the same time that Narrm was putting its feet on the accelerator to obliterate the long-suffering Euro-Yroke combination, I heard someone mention in passing that Kuwarna was leading Waalitj Marawar by a whopping 46 to 1 halfway through the second quarter of their game over in Adelaide. “What is football coming to?” I asked myself.  In front of my eyes, the Demons were smashing it through the midfield, forcing turnovers and getting the footy to their forwards who w
