Regretably, I cant turn up.

Iam absolutely guttered about it, but Ive insisted that least it will be on the big screen for me.

However, I am going to go to the ground b4 hand and swipe my membership card, so the MFC can get my recipt. Its the least I can do.

Remember people. It's a 7.05 start. If you're late, the match could be over.

Straight from work, no problem

Good to see.

Can't make it myself either, stupid moving house mumble mumble.

If somebody wants to swipe my membership card to give gate receipts, i'm in as well.

Move Saturday!

We need 50,000 plus!

i'll be there, but i'll be negated by the geelong supporter i'm dragging along

Tell him to shut up, and give it to him if we are leading at quarter, half, 3/4 and full time.

I'll be bringing my two mates along to bump the attendance up! Although one of them is a Gees fan the other is almost a Dees fan!

I missed Saturday's game (first Victorian match I've missed in about 6 years I think) because I was really sick and I have a very important presentation coming up so didn't want to risk getting worse.

However, nothing will keep me away from this match. In fact, if the Essendon match was our home game I would have dragged myself out of bed, because I know how desperate we are for numbers.

Already notified work I'm leaving an hour early this Friday :)

Today we can only feel gross dissapointment and indication of how the MFC and AFL has no idea how to enable the MFC to restore pride and credibility in the AFL community with the total lack of any promotion of tonight's game against the Cats!

This should have been marked down as the Game to be the anniversary of both the MFC's 15O year and the anniversary of the first game of Aussie rule. Yesterday was the day everyone was to have a kick to celebrate the birth of the game. So the game in 7 hours time is the game to mark. Yet we have got ZIP!

Compare this with the hype and promotion of Richmond's 100 anniversary game a few weeks ago.

AFL could not have done anything more to ensure this is a non event - other than move the game back to a 10.00 pm start so was catually being played during the Olympic opening ceremony!

Totally missed opportunity to promote the great game and mark any actual milestone as well as a foundation club!

Will be even more peeved if they bag the MFC for a small crowd as Mark Thompson has already predicted!!

Hopefully however our players do have some sense of pride and occasion and enjoy the challenge against the premiers. Good luck boys!

And the AFL's leader(s) are over in Beijing for the Olympics at present................they won't be there tonight...

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc.
