  2. That is something called Tren 💉 🤣🤣
  3. You just need to look at the f50 efficiency numbers from 2016-2019 to work that one out old55. Can lead a horse to water….
  4. Today
  5. Ah I see, nice. It was kind of hilarious how the broadcast made it look like he directed it towards Jake Lever in the box.
  6. Thanks for the offer. Would love to, but returning to Oz on Thursday. Cheers.
  7. Thanks for the offer. Would love to, but returning to Oz on Thursday. Cheers.
  8. Love Luka as a competitor hard as nails and would run through brick walls for you. Lateral movement and pace aren’t strengths, which I think may effect him at AFL level but he is only 18, could he be a Miochek, possibly in a few years. Seen him play against my oldest all the way through junior footy and they played cricket together as juniors super kid who comes from a good well grounded family
  9. Without even knowing I can only assume he’s been AA the past 3 years and will be this year. Best key back since Rance.
  10. Do we know what’s happened to him? Will he play for Casey again this year?
  11. I hope the boys are practising with greasy footballs. Hope we learned something from the Swans game.
  12. Injury List: Round 12 Tom Fullarton — hamstring / Test Harrison Petty — ankle / Test Daniel Turner — calf / Test Marty Hore — calf / 2 - 3 weeks Josh Schache — Achilles / 2 - 3 weeks Jake Lever — knee / 3 - 4 weeks Jake Melksham — knee / 3 - 5 weeks Charlie Spargo — Achilles/ TBC
  13. Halfway through the third quarter is often when a switch gets flicked when we are playing well. I think part of the way we play is that we need to get to a stage in the game where we get that metre or two of separation as fatigue kicks in to be able to play and execute that game style. It’s not uncommon for games to be largely arm wrestles with one or two periods of separation across the league. There’s not a lot separating many teams right now until things like fatigue start to play a part in games.
  14. Not so much the weather, its always sweaty. in the past players have worn sweat bands ect.
  15. Spongy grass is going to take it out of them!!! FGS they’re highly paid professional footballers
  16. It’s a lot easy to take a mark in defence than up fwd.
  17. It was a very memorable experience, but I lived our trip to the NT following that.
  18. Is anyone else irked by the fact that the pies will get to pick before us?
  19. in what position?? warm and dry - last year was an absolutely freak anomaly. Coldest day ever recorded and record rain ifor a June day
  20. Maysie is the best big defender the deez have had in 50 years. And he been the best big defender in the AFL for the best part of seven years. Full stop Next paragraph.
  21. Anyone with talent who wants to fit into a defensive system would surely be interested in coming to the Dees. Much as I am absolutely chuffed at TMcD's Lazarus season 2024, I strongly suspect that he will call it a day, as a great servant, at the end of the season. One thing (vide supra) is certain, is that TMcD will not be moving clubs. 90% retiring IMO. Tommo may well see this opening as his golden opportunity to get a permanent (as much as anything in footy is permanent) role in an excitingly dour backline.
  22. Yeh, he had injuries. Got back to good form in the VFL and a few AFL games last year then was delisted.
  23. I expect it, it’s others that need to check their expectations. And we shouldn’t budge from being defence first. That is our identity until Lever and May cease to be what they are (and while we don’t have good enough tall forwards). I can see what they are trying to do and where we are coming from. I’m comfortable at the moment because I know it takes a while and at least we have taken our first step.
