Yeh he had three paid against him vs Essendon and one paid against vs Richmond.

Yes, but arguably the most important development to have affected the club in the past few weeks has been Tom MCD playing on the ball and forward.. think of it! We may have solved the CHF problem. Remember Schwartz' role after he did his knee. He played CHF effectively enough, while doing much bullocking and ruck work on the forward line.

as to his kicking, many of his long kicks are fine. It's his 20m passes across the backline which worry me.

one olther point. While Frost is playing well it's the arrival of Hibberd on the backline which has made a huge difference. He is good enough to play as the third tall

I think Frost just helps to give the new dimension to "Churn" the latest coaching strategy employed by Goodie.

No longer do you publish a team with players in a fixed position place them there and allow the opposition to match up to negate their strength or exploit their weakness. 

You put em somewhere on the field and allow them to move around, forward, back, either side, As they train together they are the only ones who know how the "churn" works.

I noticed Lewis started it at one point moving around the square to release an extra man forward, he waved his hand and told the next player down the line to move around, after the goal as the ball came back to the centre he moved back dragged the player on the wing back. Both these moves caused the next player in the zone location to move but resulted in an effective attacking and defensive structure.

Just re-watched the 3rd quarter (because why not?), and just quietly, Frost had one of the most pivotal moments of the entire match.

Two minutes into the third, no score for either team since half-time, we're still down ten points, and the Crows had one of their few moments of slicing through the centre square with ease, leading to a high quality kick inside fifty from Sloane to Tex Walker in space. It looked a mark for sure, but then Frosty closed the last five metres at speed, put a big spoil on, kept his feet and outran Walker to the ball, then turned him inside out and got a clean kick away.

It was absolutely brilliant defensive work. If Walker had marked and goaled, we'd have been 16 points down, instead we took it up the other end (with a little pause for Hunt to knock himself out along the way) and TMac goaled.

Classic two goal turnaround, and it all started with Sam.

I had a quick look. Your figures were correct according to AFL Tables and the AFL.com Match Centre stats (for the Essendon game). But my guess is that they've keyed them in the wrong column. My original perception stands though - he's had some unlucky frees against, and I've felt that these were a matter of not being afforded enough respect yet as a 'name' player. I also think this may be changing.

Hibberd plays like a man possessed.

An absolutely sensational pick up for us. Pick up of the year in fact.

We look potent coming out of defence now, especially with Hunt loitering nearby as well.
