JUDGEMENT DAY - THE "BOMBER" 34

Featured Replies

I'm tipping 18 month ban with six months already served.

But if cleared I'm hiding from social media for about 10 years.

The hour cometh

Fmd you bunch of morally vacuous shlts !!

Seriously hope the hammer falls and falls hard.

This great game of ours has been dragged through the mud because of this mob. I want a chookfest of eggs upon the softcoq media fanboys. I don't normally get that riled these days but the whole efc machine needs to be dismantled and thrown in the smelter not just for it's initial cheating the temerity in all it's dealings since.

They are a wart on the mole of the pustules that comprise football syphilis.

I read that twit (timed @ 6.40 am), bb and thought EFC know the result and is preparing their members for a guilty verdict and nasty suspensions. They would be fine tuning their press release atmo.

The longer the delay in announcement the more likely:  'guilty'.

Conclusion:  they are GAWN!

Absolutely nothing will happen IMO

All penalties would have been served and we must protect the poor dears form any more emotional trauma

Move on all the deals have been done. Just pathetic the way its all been handled, from the politically charged initial announcement :"The darkest Day In Australian Sports History" through to the AFL self protection and to The Hird legal debacle

What a soap opera!!

Richard ings: decision to shock.

Fmd that guy suffers from spotlight deprivation......

Spot on

It was Ings who invented the term "blackest day in Oz sport" but has since been happy to let pollies, ASADA, anyone else take the blame for the hyperbole.

the longer this takes the more harsh it will be.....

wsa expecting to hear at about 7.33...

Popcorn finished, ready to applaud the fat lady.

PS. Practicing the smug face to EFC supporters......yes got it.

GUILTY!! Its official.  To miss the season!!

From the age:

Jake Niall reports current and former Essendon players have been found guilty of doping offences and will miss the entire 2016 season

They did not receive the major discount for ''no significant fault, no significant negligence'' which can cut a sentence drastically.

Good result, even to lose Melksham for 12 months.  They couldn't let them get away with it simply by not keeping records.

Not enough...

But it'll do !!

Now for Hird !!

More like a frozen book of tickets eh Old dropped from 10 storeys !!

Looks like a 2 year suspension, backdated to the SCN's in November 2014.

Justice has been done.  That is all the sporting world ever asked for.

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
