  1. I thought he had an adductor issue. Could be wrong
  2. Feedback appreciated for the new kids on the block: Sparrow, Hore, Nietsche (sp), Bedford, Chandler. and whoever I've missed. Cheers

  4. Jayden Hunt vs 4. James Harmes 3. Clayton Oliver vs Bayley Fritsch 2. Max Gawn vs Michael Hibberd Christian Salem vs 7. Angus Brayshaw
  5. With his knack for getting suspended, I'd rather he didn't get too angry.
  6. Jetta Melksham Viney T. McDonald
  7. Agree with that and particularly the role for the fast small forward - to try and limit the run from the kick-ins. It makes Garlett's return to the side (and form) all the more important. The kick ins for us will be interesting. I could see Hunt and Frost utilised although their kicking is fraught with danger. May is the most likely for me. He's fast, a good kick and took the kick ins for GC. Salem and K2 should also feature. Not lightening fast but good enough to run away with it and hit a target. It'll be interesting to see where clubs set up their defence.

  9. I thought there was fairly long list of things they couldn't do. Perhaps the AFLPA has changed things lately. Players cant even where thongs at some clubs (footwear that is).

  12. Looking at training photos - no Have read the odd track watcher say the same. Running has gone to another level (in time trials anyway I believe)
  13. I think it's been asked before but who is Fritsch training with - Fwds, Mids, Backs? Thanks in advance and to all for reports
  14. If that's terry towelling, I want one.......now!
  15. AVB has spent a long time out of the game. When he first arrived at the club his disposal was more than adequate. It has steadily gone downhill ever since. Not surprisingly this coincided with a constant run of injuries with sporadic games (usually playing with an injured foot). With a decent run at it, I would expect his disposal to improve markedly. Just not sure he will get that continuity with his injury record.
  16. Sad for Mitchell and wish him a speedy recovery. A year out is a huge blow. Having said that, I'd be very happy for a year out for Hawthorn too (no Mitchell, no Hawthorn).
  17. In 2021 he should be a restricted FA
  18. Salem and Kelly are best mates. I'm sure we'll be doing everything in our power to bring them together a la Lachie Neale and Lincoln McCarthy at Brisbane.
  19. Melksham was Essendon's whipping boy. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if that played a big part in his form there. He comes to the mighty Dee's and after a brief stint as a potential whipping boy (to continue the tradition), the coaches put a whopping amount of faith into him (Goody, Jennings, Egan), he matures a little, gains confidence and hey presto - gun! If he can shake the injuries he'll go to another level again. Exciting stuff
