I'd appeal the fine for the bump on Richard Douglas. That's taking the pi55. He had less options available than Zac Jones and all he did was brace for the contact. Should have no case to answer. The other one I'd appeal if there's no threat of an increase in the suspension. Good one Bernie!

We'll have to agree to disagree. I don't dispute we were crap, but I cant pretend the conditions and travel didn't have any bearing on the team's performance. I remember reading how players would lose 4kgs and more after the game. We are an older, better and more experienced team in 2017, but I still anticipate a fair toll on the players after Saturday.

How is this so? His argument is we lose (often badly) the week after a Darwin game and has provided precise evidence in chronological order.

It's not unusual for players to take more than one game to adjust to the pace. Haven't seen Filipovic or King in action so no opinion.

I'd prefer Kent or JKH to Kennedy, if one was to come in. Kennedy is more of the same - pressure forward with iffy disposal. The difference between Kennedy vs Bugg, Harmes and ANB is the latter 3 all have tanks. Kennedy might be a bit zippier, I just don't think we can entertain too many wayward kicks, even if there has been improvement.

I have no idea what he's thinking. I'll put it more simply... the kid couldn't buy a goal. When he finally kicked one, he played a lot better....in my opinion.

Watching the Weed last weekend and the games he's played in the Ones, he looked to me to be suffering from 'Cant-kick-a-goal-itis.' He looked low (not devoid) on confidence and largely ineffectual. He was mostly in the right spots and laying tackles - trying to get all the little things right, but not hitting the scoreboard (other than points). IIRC, he hasn't kicked a goal for awhile and, for some, the longer it goes on for, the more confidence you lose. Last weekend it looked to be more of the same and I thought, we'll see a completely different player if he could just kick a goal. He finally did and I thought he played really well after kicking the goal. In fact, he kicked another and looked to have a much stronger impact on the game. My interpretation only.

On a really good win, or to look at a specific player, I might watch the game or part of it, one more time. And of course all things D-Land

Same - couldn't breathe at all with them in. That was some time ago when it felt like there was half a flipper stuffed in your mouth. They are, no doubt, a lot better these days.
