Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Roger Mellie replied to stevethemanjordan's topic in Melbourne Demons
Nudge/Chilli Boy was a ripper and clearly went for quantity over quality. I was always saddened when he would disappear after about 5 minutes of posting gems when someone annoying would call him out and he'd vanish in a huff. -
Really? Cant see it myself.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever

Quite possibly, but I'm happy to run with it until he/she gets blown out of the water and in the absence of Nudge / CB. Not much else on offer eh -

MFC players' careers after football
Roger Mellie replied to Ron Burgundy's topic in Melbourne Demons
I think Jack Grimes was heading into the fitness industry. He and his wife had a fitness studio out the back and were planning to start a business. Don't know if it happened. -
As long as they don't now throw their war chest at Lever. Agree, they should've shut up after the Dusty fail.

Phew! As an aside, is Puopolis closer to the Latvian mark? I post this while simultaneously hiding from your mum!
-
Correction - in the pursuit of truth, justice and the Demonland way, I checked and he is indeed of Italian extraction. So my apologies to LH and the Latvian community.
-
Ok, let's go with the 'something like that' then. Estonian, Lithuanian?
-
No, it's Latvian or something like that

That'll be the case with Kelly. Everybody wrongly assumes he goes to North because of the monstrous, offer only to be pipped at the post by the Dees, with Kelly deciding, he wants to play with his mates at MFC (for less). Dreaming? Absolutely -
Not sure what he means there. I just quoted him. Perhaps he referring to the fact that Vince's reached that age where the club will only consider one year contracts.

Vital Dread on BF has a connection with Casey and has indicated the following: Hulett GoneKing One year dealSpencer GoneTrengove GoneVandenberg rookie list/one yearWhite goneVince one year vet contractFlip one year Also, Kent looking elsewhere. No mention of Kennedy (is he even out of contract this year for certain?) IMO his mail has been solid in the past

Who says we're not? Realistically, we have other more pressing needs at the moment. Having said that, I would prefer him in the forward line ( and rotating through the midfield) over the Buggonaut

He's a free agent, isn't he?

Agreed - Kelly! But, on a slightly more realistic note - yes Whitfield would make a huge difference and might be more gettable -
Having not been Dom's biggest fan all year, I was absolutely sold on his performance v. the Saints in round 21. Finally, he was doing what he should've done all year - hitting targets and making good decisions on top of his prolific ball winning . I felt dizzy with excitement at the thought of him finally coming good AND at the business end of the season. He backed it up with a good game against Brisvegas AND THAT WAS IT!!! Back to utter poo against the pies - turnovers etc blah bah blah. I just cant understand how he puts it together for two games out of 23. Yes, there are plenty of games where he won a lot of the footy before turning it over. And, after two good games, how do you dissolve into a liability? Is it injury, or rather being injury free for 2 games? I would trade him for the 21 games of shyte or keep him forever if those two games could be reliably reproduced.

Not live, no...so happy to look at this bigger picture - which looks great! Love the speed!

I'm worried Petruccele's kicking is too bog ordinary to add to our swag of sub-standard kicks
