NON MFC: Round 02
Must say I had to turn it down. Please give us some less over the top commentary. Richmond fumbling and Pies taking their chances.

Heritier Lumumba
Some may know of the big virus outbreak among foreign workers in Singapore. They live five or more to a room in massive complexes hidden from view. Anyway of the 20,000 odd that have so far tested positive about half showed no symptoms ie asymptomatic. Luckily almost none (could be none) have died. On the subject at hand Collingwood have a problem in their refusal to face up to their behaviour. Eddie typifies that problem

NON MFC: Round 02
It starts.... Again Collingwood v Richmond My main interest will be in the cardboard cut outs and what "celebrities" have snuck under the radar. Will miss Cox as he is entertaining to watch from a contest viewpoint. Richmond by 20 if not more

CHANGES: Rd 02 vs Carlton
I was adding in Langdon and Tomlinson... so you have the three draft players and Bennell which makes 6 players who were not best 22 in 2019 On the other hand except for AVB (and maybe Petty)there is no best 22 player from 2019 that is injured. That's a big turnover. It may be deserved but it is a sad judgment on some players.

Ollie Wines Potential COVID-19 Breach
Luckily we took the Toump. Dodged a bullet there.

CHANGES: Rd 02 vs Carlton
let's be honest 6 or 7 new players from what we considered best 22 in 2019 It's almost a rebuild

we were putrid in Round 1 Carlton fought back

Coronavirus: AFL & MFC
the one that goes under the radar is the one minute from goal to bounce. Double the ads and time wise adds around 3 minutes per quarter

CHANGES: Rd 02 vs Carlton
Agree Weid could play but I very much doubt it. Especially when you consider 16 minute quarters means less call for a relief ruck let alone two. His injury in the second half of last year was unfortunate. Had he played in those inconsequential games we would have all known one way or the other if he could cut it.

CHANGES: Rd 02 vs Carlton
So the Weid has been zeroed. Disappointing and heading for the trade table is my guess. We don't have much success with drafting key forwards. If Smith fails he might get a run down back given Petty's injury. We seem to hear little of Baker. Too many changes is my take. Perhaps they are all justified but it signals how poor some have been playing even when they're not playing!!

Weid out perhaps ?? (then again he wasn't in)

CHANGES: Rd 02 vs Carlton
While your argument sounds logical five odd years of watching VFL has taught me that VFL form is irrelevant. I would assume that in this day and age the other desirable.... namely match fitness can be obtained in other ways..contact training drills, repeat running etc Bennell has an added risk....the game has changed since he last played...five odd games in four years. Only one way to simulate that and its not at VFL level. Other than Gold Coast we are not going to have an easier opponent for the year.

Coronavirus: AFL & MFC
This season was all about nothing but money...so why not Mind you MFC may not be able to fill their allotted minimum come round 8 onwards

Coronavirus: AFL & MFC
Makes sense No cost in loss of local support and means less if any travel next year. Eddie knows that 2021 is where the money is.

Injury List 2020
6-8 weeks out for Hore... incredible...do we train under a ladder or with black cats ??
-
Scratch Matches 2020
Remember that anything goes with these matches . It's open to the clubs to swap players, reduce numbers etc etc
-
Injury List 2020
It's still six players. For us that's great but I suspect we are four absentees above the median level for all clubs

CASEY: 2020 Fixture & News
Other than money the reason advanced for the cessation of the aligned clubs was the isolation issue and the prospect of cross infection etc. between the AFL "bubble" and outside. If community sport is allowed I see little reason for those cross infection rules to continue. Sure one can argue that there is a chance of community infection but the risks are very low to minimal. Unfortunately it will be minimum to zero crowds for the short term at least.

TEAM: Rd 02 vs Carlton
NZ just dropped all social distancing requirements. Which Australian State will be the first to do the same? All games in WA perhaps??

Travis made time stand still when on song. His ability to swerve and thus find space followed by perfect delivery was something to watch.

MFCSS tempers any excitement. Even if he has six decent games we'll all be wondering if a breakdown is just around the corner. More likely a "decent' season and then we are forced to pay over the odds for a 3 year contract .... and we know what happens. Let's hope for some joy
