Now we are asked to believe that the club who lost all its records could come up with chapter and verse to eliminate from quarantine all players from their best 22. Could be true but frankly they don't deserve to be believed. So the rule is now two hours in an enclosed space as long as you are not in breathing distance. Sounds like open slather for restaurants then.

not sure how this can work unless they let "virus ridden" Victorian football teams in without quarantine. No team could be expected to do a two week quarantine mid season...surely

Yes but there are still times when a player marks outside fifty and kicks inside to a pack. That is when you expect the key forward to impact for a goal or two. Let's face it....they're quickly becoming NQR

Key forwards have a role and it's kicking goals. Sure they can play up the ground but you still expect them to drift in for one or two. To have zero between our two key forwards is embarrassing.

If my memory serves me right it was mutual. The centre square was the cricket pitch (Merri soil) and was roped off and often covered.This made training difficult so we would use the old Scotch Oval IIRC.Then we moved to Junction Oval

This season is mainly irrelevant for the power clubs. Their memberships are full, they get the TV money and the variable... crowd receipts is irrelevant this year (you can't make money on socially distanced crowds). One more loss for the Eagles or the Crows and they may as well mothball a few players for the season For minnows like us we need to sell the hope of next season but I suspect that come round 7or so we'll be packing our tents.

no different to the player who puts another player out of the game and is suspended for four weeks... Who benefits... the teams in the next four weeks
