  1. It was only the Channel 7 section. Will post the full story in a moment Here it is...... https://tvblackbox.com.au/page/2020/06/11/new-extended-broadcast-agreement-announced-for-the-afl-afl/ TV Blackbox understands Foxtel has also secured a reduced payment deal with the AFL. However, at this stage it has been unable to negotiate an extension to its broadcast deal which will expire in 2022. Late last month Foxtel negotiated an extension to its NRL agreement until 2027. Foxtel had hoped to lock in extended broadcast deals for both codes in a move that would have provided long-term certainty for Fox Sports and Kayo while also locking out international streaming rivals such as Amazon.
  2. The Bulldogs president backed JK on this The Foxtel deal ends in 2022. If the AFL can't get a good deal out of Foxtel then watch this issue become number 1 on the hit parade.
  3. Would like to think that Hawthorn v Geelong is watching 10th play 11. Maybe this strange season will give the Cats another year in the eight. Hell I'm sick of being so jealous
  4. The practice matches unlike VFL are unsanctioned... you can't be reported etc etc
  5. Tigers played a fill in ruck and Grundy did not really influence the game despite dominating the hit outs. Does not bode well for Gawn tomorrow
  6. no contact outside your approved bubble. Every players living environment has been approved. Not sure if they are even allowed out for food shopping
  7. All they are saying....is give Weid a chance ?
  8. and shared photos of it online I'll wager This generation !!!!!!
  9. Meanwhile back on topic......... But Lumumba accused the club of “shifting the narrative” in its claim of trying to reach out to him. “Let me very clear: I have no intention of sitting down with anyone until they publicly acknowledge some fundamental facts,” he wrote in a thread on Twitter. “Why a public acknowledgement? Because I have been discredited publicly. I don’t want a private handshake. I want justice for how I was treated. That includes correcting public denials about my account of the racism and isolation I faced.” Lumumba called on Collingwood to acknowledge “they did not have the cultural competence and organisational literacy to deal with a real culture of racism at the club, of which I was a victim for a number of years”. https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2020/jun/12/collingwoods-nathan-buckley-keen-to-talk-with-heritier-lumumba-over-club-racism-allegations Collingwood are spinning this
  10. we may lose the scratch match now.... We just limp from one issue to another...It is the raison d'etre for this club
  11. after five odd years I kinda hoped that this coach was beyond a rebuild. Mind you it provides an excuse for what would be a coach killing loss Let's see what Saturday brings
  12. Other than one decent mark by ?? and Sidebottom's first half that game was forgettable. Let's remember the AFL picked it. Collingwood unlucky to lose/draw
  13. sounds like what you do for a practice match...but well argued because I'm lost
  14. 18 possessions in two shortened quarters........outstanding
  15. may I quote you on that If it wasn't round 2 I would say we are experimenting for next season. Who knows
  16. I'm lost.... why Hunt? Please tell me it's not as a forward
  17. Must say I had to turn it down. Please give us some less over the top commentary. Richmond fumbling and Pies taking their chances.
  18. Some may know of the big virus outbreak among foreign workers in Singapore. They live five or more to a room in massive complexes hidden from view. Anyway of the 20,000 odd that have so far tested positive about half showed no symptoms ie asymptomatic. Luckily almost none (could be none) have died. On the subject at hand Collingwood have a problem in their refusal to face up to their behaviour. Eddie typifies that problem
  19. It starts.... Again Collingwood v Richmond My main interest will be in the cardboard cut outs and what "celebrities" have snuck under the radar. Will miss Cox as he is entertaining to watch from a contest viewpoint. Richmond by 20 if not more
  20. I was adding in Langdon and Tomlinson... so you have the three draft players and Bennell which makes 6 players who were not best 22 in 2019 On the other hand except for AVB (and maybe Petty)there is no best 22 player from 2019 that is injured. That's a big turnover. It may be deserved but it is a sad judgment on some players.
  21. Luckily we took the Toump. Dodged a bullet there.
  22. let's be honest 6 or 7 new players from what we considered best 22 in 2019 It's almost a rebuild
  23. 46 v 21deficit at half time We went backward... they went forward
  24. we were putrid in Round 1 Carlton fought back
