When DRS first came in I thought it made the batsman's role harder as it removed the concept of benefit of the doubt that used to be given to the batsman. Not impossible for every ball to be reviewed automatically in the bunker. Cricket is not a fast game so you would only be one or two balls behind. Effectively that is how VAR works in soccer but admittedly there are far less VAR possibilities. It will never happen as India who control world cricket are massively against DRS.

Essendon have Hurley for example and I am sure we can go through each of the power clubs and list similar players. Even our magnificent crop of youngsters...Oliver Brayshaw and Petracca are being questioned. Last years draft does not look like world beaters. That's the unknown... they were on a third day wicket yesterday and it didn't look like deteriorating for at least the first two sessions today. By that time it could be game over for us. Definitely need one if not two wickets in the first hour
