  1. assistant coach at the dees is now the short cut to getting a coaching gig. lol. But yes, most likely a media role and then fits bk in the next time a senior coach is taken down. Even so, I hope we ask the question.
  2. wow… brutal life at the top isn’t it. He’s of the absolute best coaches going around. If the swans had finished 3rd instead of losing another GF I wonder if he stays. Doesn’t feel like a good move. Assistant coach at the dees?
  3. The sad truth is that if there’s something in it for the pies it’s more likely to go ahead isn’t it.
  4. I’m taking a guess here and know only what i’ve read on this site. But, with the ruck rules the way they are, these bash and crash ruckman can now at least nullify far better players. Look what happened to Grundy in the GF and how the North Ruck Tristan Xeri plays. Knowing JT he wouldn’t ā€œ wasteā€ any pick.
  5. …. and he didn’t do it.
  6. True, not yet...and we'll know more in 2025 on these two. Im holding high hopes though.
  7. JVR? McVee?
  8. on a public forum? if you want a private convo DM him. Otherwise everyone here is free to comment.
  9. Not much fun in that decade fr the dees.
  10. Surely Kalani White would be the future ruck investment? IF we draft Dodson might it mean we don’t feel he’s coming?
  11. wow… the review must have been damning. A clean out might be a good thing but who’s going to fill all these holes?
  12. Well....theres ONE of those goals that will be with me until I die. Thanks for the golden memory Gus.
  13. exactly . Just not the story that gets clicks. Intersting with Bailey Smith they spent so much time getting him over too. So, by the time it came to ā€œtradeā€ him everyone knows he’s going to Geelong and the cats give v little to get him. That’s their playbook.
  14. Agreed. If they had a financial target I think a ton of members, myself included, would go the extra mile to help.
  15. Sadly I agree re the magical openings that would appear if either the pies or tiges took Goschs over. If we cant get caulfield ( Im still hoping) couldnt we try some of the approaches they might make?
  16. About time someone brought up round 22 1976 again! lol You know what they say ā€œfools forgive and forget, whereas the wise forgive but never forgetā€
  17. Taking a moment to dream of a fit and in form trac and oliver ….and then shoving a whole lot of you know what back down a few journos mouths.
  18. Its a good question would love a % score from anyone that might know.
  19. He was immense in that game. I remember him crunch tackling Dangerfield. And yes, best of luck Sam. Wasn't quite to be in the AFL.
  20. except for the flag in 21 ..oh and the 3 top finishes.
  21. I was there for his ā€œ breakoutā€ game v cats in 2018. sigh. I’m also not sure what to make of Jeffo yet. On the plus side he IS improving and has quite a consistently good second half of 24. On the negative he looks like someone that will get monstered at AFL level. I’m just not gonna believe it at AFL til I see it…. love to be wrong tho.
  22. agreed. Let’s hope the draft pick brings with it a different kind of hope.
  23. then ontrade 5 for picks 2 and 3!
  24. strange trade. What value for the crows in that?
  25. Agreed. He’s interesting because he’s informed … which means he doesn’t need to smear and poke to get attention. One of the very few worthy of respect and that I’ll tune into.
