  1. I think this is a really great idea/ possibility for fan input. Although I also think you’re being very optimistic here re asking for “ a focus on constructive ideas” and not just complaints lol. Especially now in peak hour hate traffic. I’d suggest that anything in this topic that is in the “ i hate this club” or “ im done with this club” etc be removed before letting AI summarise so we can stick with the constructive part”
  2. The dreaded foot issue. I think from memory it’s a long standing injury that’s reoccurred. Foot issues as we know too well can kill a career.
  3. Thanks Binman. A voice of sanity in the [censored] storm. I’ve been a supporter since 71 so we’ve been on a similar ride.
  4. Good summary.
  5. I know this is going to be unpopular given current hate of the pies...which I have myself have ...but I cant help but spare a thought for the pie supporters after the 70 GF. We lost this inconsequental game to a fellow cellar dweller with nothing on the line but pride . Given the pain of this ....Imagine if that was a GF. Silver linings I guess.
  6. Im with you on this. I remember too well the reactionary push against Bailey which opened up the darkest chapter of my time as a supporter under Neeld. Neeld who was going to toughen the players up and lost them in his first pre season. We need to be strong enough as a club not too wilt under the sack SG outcry and really investigate ALL of the factors.
  7. Of all of those this 92 loss feels the most similar to yesterday. I remember the shock and the recognition that our mini time near the top was done. Also recognising that something was wrong at the club and that Northeys time was done at the Dees. We did bounce back under Balme and were right up there again soon. Hopefully this is similar…. and not a return to a Neeld era. Hard to know which way the club is headed this morning.
  8. Im enjoying this more than the AFL.
  9. JVR to keep finding form, Rivers some time in the middle.
  10. IF no injuries, then I think giving Jeffo a week off wouldn’t be especially harmful . Hes getting a good go now.
  11. I think bringing him in now, in any extended way, with such an interrupted pre season, is simply a recipe for trouble. GIving the kids a go Vs throwing them to the wolves. I reckon we give him a game in the last game of the year, or the second last. Give him a taste so that it might spark him off for a massive pre season.
  12. if he gets weeks we must NEVER use Anderson again. I’m not sure which side he works for.
  13. Horrible decision wasn’t it. Do we win with it?Wed have gotten to have a shot at it anyway. Another low moment in a low frikn season.
  14. And Clarry and Trac both taking a bit longer to get back to their best...and just a horrible year in front of goals. Im expecting the club to finish this year with 10 wins and rebound hard in 26.
  15. He's not a bull but he is one of our most clinical finishes and crafty forwards. Absolutely need him. Great players have lapses of form and confidence...but we were all reminded of what he can do last weekend. Must keep!
  16. Just to note … in reference to “ our terrible club culture” “Demons list manager Tim Lamb, head of football Alan Richardson and interim chief executive officer David Chippindall all put their holiday plans on hold and made the three-and-a-half-hour trip up over the border to Albury”
  17. lol okay… but l don’t think it’s as far fetched as that. Let’s just go for an achievable goal and just not miss sitters within 20 meters. that’s got to be doable? Trac is down on physical confidence as is Oliver both post affected pre seasons . Fritsch ( as a new parent) has had an unusually poor kicking year. All will be better next year if they’re still with us. Despite your Aunt ;-) I still think we’re really not that far off. But ask me again after we play the blues and saints. We could still finish this year on 10 wins and with a dreadfully unlucky losses to GWS and the pies.
  18. I agree, despite the disappointment, we’re really not far away. IF we could fix our goalkicking we’re a top 8 team.
  19. Looks like a p[retty decent draft doesnt it!
  20. I hate to have to say it… but Jeffo looks like a bust. Do we persist for more games in 25 or just cut our losses?
  21. We can only pray for small mercies like this in a [censored] season.
  22. He needs a big and uninterrupted pre season. Given he missed a lot of that this year I won’t make any judgements til 2026. He still lives in the “ could make it” category imo.
  23. Is it time to start talking about the senior players… and possibly trading them out while they still have any value?
  24. Soooo… LJ back to Victoria?
