  1. I thought the ground was almost windless today? Anyway it’s good to hear he’s normally a better shot. A relief. I have to be honest and say I haven’t seen that much of him so it’s a small sample size i’m getting vocal about and better to hold my tongue no doubt!
  2. noticed that too! I mean it’s not like he’s just learning to kick for goal is it! All over the place.
  3. Not sure what to think about Jeffo. Lots to like about his positioning and marking. But his kicking for goal is close to being a liability. well in this game it actually IS that. On the positive, theres plenty to work with and he’s marking it …thats a big part of being a genuine fwd. But Jury still out for me and he def won’t be playing in 2024.
  4. i count 5 frikn misses from him inside 50 now. 2 posters, 1 point and 2 no scores. I love his potential but if he makes it and kicks like that he’s going to break a lot of hearts
  5. but can’t hit the side of a frikn barn
  6. I know we’ve lost a LOT of players at this level… it’s just hard to watch the lack of physical pressure and sloppiness with the ball 🤦
  7. A side thought on the Wright case. If he had just stuck his knee out and broken 3 ribs on Cunnningham instead of using is shoulder he'd have no case to answer. The collision look a little similar to me in terms of the angle both players were coming from. Using the knee as a battering ram a la Cox and Chol must be reportable.
  8. I’m remembering, if my memory is correct, the 1989 season and the Hawks. Both Dunstall and Dermie were badly injured in a home and away game against us. Dunstall with a bad head injury and Brereton had to miss quite a few as well. They not only won the game against us that day but went on to win the flag as well. Hoping we are as resilient.
  9. Tbh Im crossing my fingers they don’t rush him back. Let him miss 6 weeks or so and come back strong. We need him fully fit in September not struggling.
  10. looks like he’s ready to take a step up to me.
  11. Tackling pressure seems really low.
  12. Great podcast as always. It’s a must listen now and I love the analysis, the intelligence and the passion . You guys seriously rock.
  13. I think he’s finally found his feet up there and will become a true star of the game. Not sure he’d put that at risk to change everything again.
  14. I still feel like if he’d taken it to the members we could have made it happen. He wouldnt have had to do it on his own. Anyway, that opportunity ( and it’s the best we’ve ever had) has come and gone. no use crying over it all these years later.
  15. same same...and he missed a chance to give the club a home.
  16. Been said already, but Howes was excellent and Windsor looked at home. We've blooded two beauties there. On a dry day they are both going to look even better.
  17. i don’t know what happened but i’m surprisingly absent of MFCSS ….and that doesn’t happen often. The dees to put a number of media ghouls back in their boxes. GO DEES!
  18. Everyone around him would be telling him he did nothing wrong....and they won a flag and everyone's feeling great down there. So it may not be on the surface right now. But there would be a little voice in his head where he knows what he did and those little voices tend to never go away do they.
  19. Thoughts on verall? could he step up this year? if not it’s shache.
  20. demonland is practicing too. already goodwin is the wrong guy and we’re hopeless. great warm up!
  21. Anyone with any real news about the actual injury or injuries?
  22. wait…. he has nerve related issue on his OTHER foot as well as a lisfranc? i’m confused. Anyone with any info here?
  23. I wasn’t aware there was competition. Worst news I’ve heard in a while as the dees don’t usually win much head to head with other clubs. AFL or another code?
  24. Intersting. On the positive it helps get us funding… and that’s a real and brilliant outcome. But, if I’m reading you right, the thorn in the roses of this idea is that CFC magically gets the go ahead to build a stadium for their woman’s team at Godches? This when we couldn’t get [censored] done there. As good as I think Caulfield will be I may have to stab myself every time I pass Goschs if it becomes a cfc stadium. If it was a neutral venue ie The home of woman’s footy and we were a founding member, that’s one thing. But what’s the likliehood of that.
