But MAYBE that’s not Oliver’s fault?
  2. Hate to pot a young player, but i think it’s true. year 3 now and looking like year 1
  3. I feel like Weid, Shache and Jeffo are the same player. AND of those 3 Weid was the best which is saying something. JVR has lost his way but will come good i think … too much talent not to. Good in the ruck at least. Fritsch is just badly out of sorts. His radar needs to be taken back in for a service. For right now playing all three is almost like going into a game 3 men short.
  4. no cringe for me. I hope this idea takes hold! Dee supporters getting behind one of our best ever in the face of a personal challenge and an unscrupulous media.
  5. what’s the opposite of MFCSS? ;-)
  6. This! He had a few operations in the off season so it was certainly not a smooth one. This coming off a very limited preseason the year before and a season of carrying injuries making it hard to train. Would not surprise me if Clayton was a lot better in 26. I’d even consider giving him a mini preseason within the season this year.
  7. Firstly I’m inclined not to believe Tom Morris. But to play along with this for a moment. If a manager were to negotiate a much lower salary for Clayton that is also a big loss for personally for them isn’t it, in terms of the cut I believe they get? How many player managers would be willing to do that?
  8. A question about our last quarters. Yes we won one finally but not in a very convincing way. DO you think we're just not fit enough... or are there other factors. eg Kolt off a long injury break, Lindsey and Langford are still just first year players, Trac and Oliver coming from a long way back etc. So the heart of the question is, in your opinion, were we not trained in the right kind of way for 2025 OR are we just carrying players that for one unavoidable reason or other haven't got the tank.
  9. maybe we can win a last qtr?

IF he can get his fragile body right
  11. But more importantly ...are you wearing the right socks???
  12. except he can’t ruck.
  13. and he knows how to make a tackle really stick.

didn’t we win the first 10 games in 21 and 22?
  15. Found our DNA again in the 3rd. Oliver 13 possessions and there was high tackling pressure everywhere. Best we’ve looked since 21 I think. The second half of the last was disappointing, I think we have to remember 2 of our superstars are still finding their way. Trac is still re discovering his power and confidence post injury. Oliver played so injured last year and had off season surgeries, he’s coming from a long way back fitness wise. Both of them will be better in the second half of the season as we will be as a team.
  16. anyone know what the crowd estimate is yet?
  17. A chance to get our season back on some kind of track. A win and the whole place starts to hum again… a loss and there will be blood.

    can you name him?
  19. I would even argue that having come through a test of loyality the commitment is deeper still. Id also back him for the captaincy.

A win, Trac coming forward with his love for the club and now some good news on the training ground front...... Im not sure I can absorb any more good news!
  21. This is so good to hear. 🙏🏼👌For the club, for Trac and for the further healing of many things in 2024.
  22. what’s with 6 goals in a qtr? I just travelled from 2012 back to 2018. hopefully I can stay here.
  23. Thanks. Your post tell me we’re getting back to business as normal here after a bitter week of cannibalism and mutiliation. :-)
  24. fir those of us that don’t subscribe..would you be willing to give a tiny summary?

Nothing he said would quell the violent mob we’ve become but, for me, I’m still glad he came out and said something.
