Feeling relief to finally get home in a close one. The whole club needed that win…it puts to bed a painful a few years and is a the rebirth point. loved kingies emotion in the box too. This year will have more than its share of ups and downs but we may well be in the 6-10 bracket.

I get your sentiments but 168 years is an exaggeration. Lets not forget that we had THE best training facilities in the league for large majority of that time. Since the use of the MCG was cut we have the worst.

I’m in full agreement Red. It only makes sense to me if it’s a 2 or 3 year interim while we build at Canfield. So, I’m only saying that in that scenario I can see the sense in it… outside of that I can’t. As an alternative to Caulfield… this would be one of the more depressing outcomes, if not THE most, in my 55 years as a supporter. And…as you know…there’s some decent competition for that title.

Honestly... regardless of where we finish , how many wins or AA's or lack of any of that. My pass mark is that a home base is made definite. If this is still not clear by the end of 26 Im calling the season a fail.

Tonight’s the AGM so I’m hoping we get something more definite tonight. That being said, the lack of any leaks about it suggests we have either a very very tight ship or there might not be a lot to say.

To be fair we lost 4 close finals, any one of which we might have won. Yes we lost them ALL and I get it… that’s all that counts. But I do think we were close in 22 and 23.

I finally got down from interstate to get to a training session. Great to meet and have a chat w @Ghostwriter @Fritta and Turner @Winter Dan and 31. we’re a good bunch of folks us dee supporters! Nothing much to add other than CJ moves like a frikn gazelle and Latrelle looks highly skilled and, dare I say it, ready to go.

you mightn’t boo him..( McVee) but if he’s standing there at full back 5 metres from you on game day ( picking up Latelle) , you surely would be tempted to thank him for all the honesty?

10 is hoped for. I think 6 is a pass mark. ( I’m also going to include winning more close games than we lose )

could you find out how far off full training he is? ie Is he one to watch in 26 or do we wait til 27.
