Any updates re training ground very much appreciated!

Training Ground?
Tonight’s the AGM so I’m hoping we get something more definite tonight. That being said, the lack of any leaks about it suggests we have either a very very tight ship or there might not be a lot to say.

Farewell Clayton Oliver
To be fair we lost 4 close finals, any one of which we might have won. Yes we lost them ALL and I get it… that’s all that counts. But I do think we were close in 22 and 23.

PRESEASON TRAINING: Monday 15th December 2025
I finally got down from interstate to get to a training session. Great to meet and have a chat w @Ghostwriter @Fritta and Turner @Winter Dan and 31. we’re a good bunch of folks us dee supporters! Nothing much to add other than CJ moves like a frikn gazelle and Latrelle looks highly skilled and, dare I say it, ready to go.

Farewell Judd McVee
you mightn’t boo him..( McVee) but if he’s standing there at full back 5 metres from you on game day ( picking up Latelle) , you surely would be tempted to thank him for all the honesty?

2026 Pass Mark
10 is hoped for. I think 6 is a pass mark. ( I’m also going to include winning more close games than we lose )

Welcome to Demonland: Thomas Matthews
could you find out how far off full training he is? ie Is he one to watch in 26 or do we wait til 27.
-
Farewell Clayton Oliver
It’s definitely going to hurt watching him and Trac in 26. Even so I still think the calls were right.

Training Ground?
Just to clarify and no offence intended as I enjoy your intel. But “Everything is agreed but there’s no set time line to sign contracts” sounds like a kind of contradiction. There must be something holding things up for signing not to be happening? Or am I missing something?

Welcome to Demonland: Latrelle Sumner-Pickett
Personally I agree but would love to hear the reasons.

He’ll stay.. but it make both of them better.

The 2025 AFL Draft Thread
Twomey had North taking him at 15. I’d be stoked to pick him up.

AFL Draft 2025: Phantom Drafts
You must be new here 😜

Farewell Clayton Oliver
I think we almost certainly end up with egg on face re him playing great football … at least in 2026. That still doesn’t mean it was the wrong call imo.

SOMEONE LIKE YOUSE by Whispering Jack
Memory lane lol. Amazing how the 21 flag put all that doom and teeth gnashing around that time to rest. I would have loved a longer stay at the top just to underline it….but no one ever wants to fall, in whatever field, anywhere, whenever it is do they. Here’s hoping we get another taste in my lifetime.

Training Ground?
Be great if so, but is this just own opinion or sourced info?

Training Ground?
If it’s waverley as an interim… will the whole admin move out there as well I wonder? Ie will we get to be under one roof?

Letter from the CEO Post Draft
100% He needed to come and try to sell reluctant members something. We just lost a premiership coach, a norm smith medallist and a 4x b&f winner ( all to other clubs) . He did appear a bit too upbeat / hard sell to be authentic for mine ….but I can see why. As for memberships. Unless finances prevent it I’m buying whether I live overseas, interstate or on mars. Not buying memberships doesn’t “ teach someone a lesson” it only makes us weaker.

last seen with Jamarra 😳

Farewell Taj Woewodin
Just reminds me how good you have to be to even stay on an AFL list! Thought he might have been worth preserving with but I defer to those that know more than i do.

Farewell Christian Petracca
Norm Smith medallist in the only flag i’ve seen or may see. Total star of the comp. Thanks for all you brought to the dees and for the magnificent memories. Sad to see him go. Guess we’ll never know what went down but 2021 was unforgettable.

Farewell Clayton Oliver
Can I just say… regardless of how this turned out… what an out and out champion he was. Helped us win a flag and put the pride back into being a dee. Will be sadly missed. All the best Clayton. Thanks for the best memories i’ve ever had as a long time supporter.
