The GREATEST win I’ve seen from the club. As happy and proud as I’ve ever felt as a supporter. I’m sure the Brisbane boys just gulped hard .

Honestly , the fact that this was leaked feels like trouble to me.

seems like just yesterday ( last year i think) he kicked 1.6 or 1.5 and he used to do kick like that regularly. i just couldn’t figure him out bk then as he always has had the most balanced, fluent kicking style in our team imo. 46.18 this year is an incredible return and 7 goals straight shows how far he’s come , but not just in kicking but in all aspects of his game. Feel like he’s our version of a Gunston. Interesting to remember we got him w the pick we got for Watts. Our recruiting in the past 5 years has been as good as it was bad in the 5 before that :-)

I wanted to discuss this. I’m piecing together snippets and wonder if anyone has more info. We played monday night v WC ( late) flew bk the same night into Melb, probably arriving Tues at 6-7 am? Once we got bk we’ve had to go into 72 hours of iso so Adelaide are allowed to come over. So lets say that ended Friday lunch time. I heard Gawn speaking saying we’re having. training run Sat and that’s it! That’s a massive disruption isn’t it? Meanwhile Adelaide have a week w everything as normal. How do players deal w injuries, do rehab, fitness etc etc? I guess if we come out a bit rusty we’ve got to cut them a bit of slack. Glad it’s Adelaide not Geelong.

hmm i don’t think so. off the top of my head i’m pretty sure we won 16 in 1990. but there ARE still 2 games to go and either way it’s a great accomplishment.

well the way i’m looking at it, if i’ve got my facts straight, is that i think casey is mcg sized. so we have one marvel size and one mcg. IF that’s so i’m happy enough.

i get the sentiment as they’re below us and coming off a bad loss. but since when is playing the Eagles in Perth a “ danger game”? they lift in front of their crowd and the eagles this season, at their best at home, can match it and more w anyone. coming off such a publicised crappy loss i’m thinking a win fr us will be a big achievement. i’d more label this game a big ladder shaping contest , critical fr both sides and on a par with the geelong game round 23.

An obvious one. Having Gill , Roffey , himself etc there at the announcement of a simple 3 mil ground surface upgrade looked on the surface like making a big deal about v little. Had to be a signal that it was more than that . How far advanced are they re facilities that will bring all of the arms of the club bk under one roof?

they were in brisbane apparently not GC so it may not be so. but if it is that’s a looong time to be stuck in a plane seat hey.

well… it will mean we’ve flown melb- brisbane- perth- melb on the day before the game. i don’t think there’s a golden solution to want here. GC in perth is our best outcome.

we’re an unassisted club that got smashed financially ( and worse than most others) in a year we should have creamed it. You do you and what you feel is right … but i’m looking to donate more.
